Warning that I won't always be getting out 3 chapters within a week. These last 3 just happened to be right on the tip of my fingers ready to type, so I was able to do them all quickly. I'm going to have to make sure I get another chapter out in my other story after I post this.
I hadn't seen Kakashi since I ran out of the gold room that night.
Jiraiya assured me that he left for a mission the next day. Not that I had asked. He seems to pay extra attention to Kakashi and I.
Tonight had been a bit slow, so Mr. Lenta allowed me to leave early since there wasn't anyone to make drinks for. No drinks, no money, so no point in standing around for another couple hours.
I changed back into my street clothes, just a blue long sleeve v-neck with a black jacket on top, slim leg khakis and sneakers. Yes-sneakers. I didn't walk around everywhere in damn stiletto heels. In fact, I'm grateful for the minute I get to take them off.
I slipped out the back door, just like I have every night I worked here, but something was different. Instantly I sensed a tension in the air that put me on high alert. I slowly reached into my jacket pocket as I looked around the darkened alley. There was a hidden pocket within the pocket storing a kunai, and I was ready to use it if necessary.
A low cat call whistle came from a dark corner, then a man walked into the light. I sighed in relief. He was about to be an annoyance, yes, but he was also just some tipsy patron trying to bother me...for a moment i thought I had slipped up. I was expecting a Keisan member to step out of the dark.
"You have a beautiful voice-" he purposely trailed off, waiting for me to fill in the blank and tell him my name.
"Thank you." Was all I would give him. He chuckled to himself at my stubborness.
"I've been wondering when I'll get to see you up there on stage like the others. When are you going to dance for us?" The stupid man kept walking closer and closer to me. If only he knew I only needed ten seconds to snap his neck with my thighs. I'm sure no one would miss this creep from the looks of him...but I won't.
"Bartender, singer, that's it." I ticked off my fingers as I spoke. "No stripping, sorry about your luck."
"What are you sorry for? The night's not over. Now I can see why you wouldn't want to strip for some of those other lesser gentleman inside, but you can trust me." He was close enough now I could spit in his eye...not sure he'd react well to that. Even though he backed me against a wall, I knew he had nothing on me in strength. I could sense it now. His chakra was pitiful. "You can come back to my place and it'll just be me and you. You could give me a personal show. We can have some fun." He started ticking his fingers off as well in 'good humor'.
When he reached out to touch me I was ready to make him regret ever talking to me. But then I noticed a familiar chakra approaching. Kakashi would be nearing the club any moment, and if I put this guy in his place he would know instantly I wasn't who I said I was...might even think I'm a threat to the village since I am a ninja hiding under an alias.
He tried to touch my face, but I batted his hand away-unfortunately that was the most defending I could do given the Kakashi circumstance. "That doesn't sound like fun at all. I'll have to pass." I replied with clear disgust, then tried to brush passed him.
I made it a step before he grabbed onto my hair. I had to step back as he pulled to lessen the force of the tug. "I don't recall asking a question."
"Oh, the 'take by force' type. Pardon me for forgetting to just fall into your arms." If he couldn't hear the sarcasm, then he needed to have his hearing checked. "You're drunk. Just let me go, then go home."
