"Got any big plans for the weekend?" Iruka asked, just making conversation as we cleaned up the classroom.
"Well, Kurenai has me going out with her and Anko tonight. I think we're going to hang out at the bar."
"Oh, that's right. I remember Kurenai mentioning that earlier this week." Iruka not so discreetly turned away from me when he mentioned Kurenai's name to 'pick up some fallen papers on the ground'.
An idea popped in my head and I smirked at Iruka's back. "What about you? Any big plans?"
Iruka stood back up at the subject change, but I turned from him unable to hide my smirk. I capped the bottles of ink on the desks and collected them in a basket.
"Nothing yet" he shrugged his shoulder.
"Yet?" I pointed out the key word, "so you're not settled on a weekend on the couch?"
"Well..." He paused, not having thought about it, "I guess not."
"Good," I whipped around and he did a double take at the grin on my face, "then you'll come with me tonight."
"With you? To where-the bar?!" I nodded, my grin turning back into a smirk, "b-but that's for you and Anko and-"
"Kurenai" he blushed at her name.
"I don't want to bother your girls night" he tried to excuse himself, but I wasn't letting him get out of it that easily.
"You won't be. I heard Gai will be joing as well."
Iruka's shoulders slumped and he huffed in defeat, "I'm not getting out of this, am I?"
"Getting out of this? You say that like it's a punishment." I chuckled. "Iruka, think of it as my thank you for helping me practice-" I glanced around, the classroom door was shut tight,"-hand signs" I finished.
"You know how you can thank me? Uninvite me."
"But I already told Kurenai you were coming. If I uninvite you she'll be so disappointed."
"R-really?" As much as he wanted to deny it, his face lit up a little bit at the thought. Kurenai didn't know a thing, but I nodded anyway. "W-well, I wouldn't want her to be upset with me." He muttered to himself, "okay I'll come." He stated firmly.
"Good, now I don't have to tie you up to get you there." I mumbled jokingly to myself.
"Wait-what?"
"Oh, nothing!" I tucked the basket away in the storage cabinet, then headed for the door before he could argue further,"I'll see you there!"

"Have I told you I think you're being foolish yet?" Jiraiya hollered as I shut my bedroom door on him.
"Yes Jiraiya!" I groaned as I went through my clothes for something to wear tonight. I should have known when he offered to watch Itatsu tonight that this would be his agenda-again.
"Well I'm telling you again! You and Kakashi were perfect together-ARE perfect together. A match made in heaven-"
I swung the door open to yell at him, "A match made in Jiraiya heaven. You're only upset about this because you played matchmaker and it didn't work out."
As if I hadn't just said anything, Jiraiya glanced my outfit choice up and down. "You're going to wear that?"
I shut the door in his face and went back to my closet to find something else. I at least got a little grin though as I heard him grumbling and rubbing his nose from where the door hit him.
