A/N: part of this chapter is going to stray away from the actual Naruto story. I know and realize this, so please accept the changes I've made. Sorry if you don't like them.

My head was still reeling from the bomb that Lady Tsunade had just dropped on me.

"Uzumaki?!" Naruto shouted while I was in my daze. "That's my name!"

Lady Tsunade nodded her head. "That is correct, Naruto."

"But...that would mean..." Naruto trailed off, muttering 'I'm not alone' just low enough for him to hear, but Tsunade and Kakashi didn't need to hear Naruto to know what he meant.

"So.." Now Kakashi got curious, not having seen the results himself, "what does that make them? Long lost cousins?" He wondered.

Tsunade bit her lip, not answering that question just yet. Insteas she turned to me, who was still dazed out on my bed. "Ama?" I didn't respond, "Amaterasu?"

Kakashi laid his hand on my shoulder and I jumped. "Huh? I'm sorry-I just...."

"Dazed off a little there?" Kakashi chuckled.

I blushed and shrugged my shoulders. "I'm sorry, Lady Tsunade. What did you say?"

"I just wanted to ask-do you know how the Keisan get the babies they take?" She asked, wondering if it might answer something she hadn't told them.

"Oh, um..." That was the last question I expected. "... they prayed on war torn clans. They lurk in the shadows, wait for the destruction that would surely follow, then kill whoever was keeping eye and snatch the baby before the building fell. That way, they get a descendant from a ninja clan, and that clan would assume the child died in the destruction."

Kakashi and Tsunade shared a glance, "It adds up." Kakashi commented and Tsunade nodded.

Naruto and I glanced back and forth between the two when they didn't elaborate. "What adds up?!" We both demanded.

"About 25 years ago, there was a war between the Uzumaki clan and the Shinigami clan (not a real clan, just all I could think of) There wasn't much left of Uzushiogakure-or even its people-so the few Uzumaki survivors came to live in Konoha after."

"And my parents?! They made it too...thats why I'm in Konoha, right?!" Naruto got a little caught up in the story...a little too caught up. We all deadpanned. "What?!"

"You're 17 years old Naruto." Kakashi rubbed at his temple with a sigh. "The war was 25 years ago."

"So...?" He looked between us all.

Lady Tsunade bit her cheek, holding back a comment. "Yes, Naruto. In fact, both of your parents came to Konoha."

That statement got everyone's attention, including Kakashi's sharp gaze. He also knew the few Uzumaki's that had come to live in Konoha-but there was only one Uzumaki that he could see Amaterasu in. Kakashi strode over to Tsunade, grabbing her arm and pulling her back enough for a hushed conversation. "That's impossible. She never said-"

"You remember how young she was when she came to Konoha. What young girl wants to remember losing her first child at 16? Of course, she didn't tell anyone. But the tests are conclusive, and I cant ignore the results right in front of me."

"I'm sorry...you said the tests are conclusive?" I spoke over them, having just overheard that part.

They both froze, gazing over their shoulders at Naruto and I. Naruto came over to my side, staring down the two with me. They tensed even more, looking at Naruto and me next to each other with fresh eyes.
