Oh my goodness I let out a deep, supposedly relaxing, breath and patted my cheeks to wake me up. My wedding day is not the day to sleep through and sleep in. I scolded myself. Although I don't usually need an alarm. I should've had Kakashi to wake me up. I thought and looked back to my bed with a scowl, only my side having been slept in and disheveled.
Flashback
"What are you still doing here?" Jiraiya's sudden appearance made me jump and Kakashi chuckled under his breath that I hadn't noticed his presence.
I gave him a narrowed side glance before turning my attention to the Sanin invading our bedroom...with Itatsu on his shoulder...of course he's already roped him into whatever shenanigan this is. "He lives here. What are you even doing here?" I shot back.
"Hey now, take back those dirty looks. I'm here to make sure he isn't."
"You say that as if that should make total sense...what am I missing here?" My gaze narrowed further on him in suspicion. "He's already had his bachelorette party...." I added in like I was taking a guess.
"Hey now-" there's that 'hey now' again as he lifted his hand like a girl scout swearing an oath, "-no strippers where I'm taking him, promise."
"Where are you taking him?"
Before Kakashi could further question or Jiraiya could answer, Itatsu reminded us he was there with perfect timing. He tugged on the back of Jiraiya's shirt. "You said I'm gon- too. I wan- stripper Papa Ji-ya-" I deadpanned and Jiraiya immediately had a look on his face like he knew he was dead...dead by me. Then Itatsu looked toward his parents "wha's a stripper?" He didn't know what it was he 'wanted, but hearing the word was enough for this child to want it.
I could see the chuckle Kakashi was trying to suppress before hearing it and nudged him to stop it. "What?" He laughed as if that was his defense for innocence.
"Then be my guest and explain it." I whispered to him with a smirk, having a little fun myself putting it on him. His cheeks flushed just over his mask, flustered at the idea of explaining that. "Uuuhh-"
"They strip all the decorations after a big party." Jiraiya quickly interjected with the first thing that came to his mind. "But we're being good boys going straight to bed for the big day tomorrow; so we don't need a party or 'strippers'" I could feel my brow twitch as he used the word again, even if it was with a different 'meaning'.
Itatsu's expression quickly went from puzzled to contemplative to a light bulb going off. "I've seen Momma clean up a- a party, is she a stwipper?" My eyes bulge, Kakashi choked on his own breath in surprise for a second and Jiraiya imagined an R.I.P tombstone floating above his head.
"ANYWAY!" Jiraiya quickly exclaimed, trying to be loud and distracting from the current conversation. He plopped Itatsu back on the ground from his shoulder and ushered him on, "you have some toys to finish packing up. Go on ahead, go pick them out."
