"Boo!", I grin as Ariana opens the door.

"Happy Halloween", she giggles and steps aside so I can enter the house. I lean in to kiss her but she turns away.

"No kiss?", I ask and she laughs. "I can't. Lipstick", she winks and my eyes travel down her body.

"You haven't been very creative with your outfit, have you?", I laugh and she poutes. "I have", she replies and fixes her devil's horns.

She's wearing black skinny jeans and a red top, her make-up is dark and she applied red glittery lipstick.

"And what are you?", she laughs and pokes my chest. "I'm a ghost, see, my face is white", I tell her grinning. "Wow, Luke, so much more creative", she laughs.

"I'm a guy", I shrug and she laughs even harder. "You always use that as an excuse for everything."

She walks over to a little cupboard and takes out a pair of black high heels. "Wish me luck", she grins as she puts them on.

"I hope they won't kill me." She walks over to me while wrinkling her nose. "I can't walk in them properly anymore", she whines.

At that moment her mum walks in. "Are you leaving already?", she asks us smiling and I nod. "Have fun you two", she tells us before we leave the house.

"You will probably have to carry me at some point of the night", Ariana tells me and I laugh.

"Hurry up!", Josh shouts from the street. "Are you gonna wait until the party to talk to them?", I ask and she nods before we make our way over to his car.

Ariana sits down next to Carly in the back and I get onto the co-driver's seat.

"Your girlfriend's hot", Josh whispers before he grins and starts the car.

Your girlfriend.

"Happy Halloween!", Carly shouts as she walks into Calum's house. 

"Happy Halloween Catwoman." Her boyfriend approaches us and gives her a kiss. Time to leave, I don't need him to ruin my night.

"Let's go find Calum", I tell Ariana and pull her with me. "Since when are Rob and Carly a couple?", she asks quietly as we look for Calum.

"I don't know, I just moved here a month ago. You should know it", I laugh. "It's like you haven't been to school since ages. You've always been there."

"There he is!", she suddenly blurts. Two girls turn around and she quickly covers her mouth. I can't help but laugh at the fact that you can't tell if Ariana or the girls are more shocked.

"Then let's go", I chuckle and she follows me. "I didn't mean to talk yet", Ariana giggles shortly before we reach Calum.

"Happy Halloween", he grins and looks round. "I lost my mask, now I can't scare you", he says and I grin.

"But maybe we can scare you", I wink at Ariana and she gets the message. Before Calum can say anything she shouts "Boo!" into his face.

Calum's eyes widen and he stumbles a few steps backwards. "Shit", he curses. "You guys are crazy!"

Ariana starts laughing and I join in while Calum looks at us with wide eyes.

"Well, happy Halloween, Calum", Ariana giggles and he shakes his head. "Totally crazy", he mumbles before he looks at me.

"Scaring the shit out of people isn't funny", he grins and I keep laughing. "It is, actually", I tell him and he rolls his eyes. "That was not cool, Ariana", he says and she shrugs. "I thought it was pretty funny", she smirks. "Not for me", he laughs.

"Hey, Luke! What are you, man?", Harry says as he reaches us. "A ghost, see, his face is white", Ariana repeats my words from earlier and grins.

"Oh", Harry says and his eyes widen. "You're.." "..talking?", she ends his sentence and he nods. "I figured that being quiet wasn't for me", she laughs and Calum chuckles. "Took you long enough to figure that out", he tells her.

"So does that mean you'll keep talking now?", Harry asks her and she nods. "Nice to have you back then", Calum winks and gives her a quick hug. "Don't get jealous, yeah?", he tells me and I laugh.

"Let's get something to drink?", Ariana looks at me questioning and I nod before following her. "That was fun", she laughs and I nod. "Did you see their faces?", I ask and she laughs again. "Priceless", she tells me while a guy in a Batman costume hands us two cups.

"What do we have here? The devil and..?", Spiderman stops by. Really Michael?

"A ghost!", I shout and Ariana laughs. "He keeps getting asked", she giggles and Michael laughs. "Isn't it obvious?", I ask annoyed and they both shake their heads.

"Oh c'mon", I groan and Ariana giggles. "You may not be the most obvious ghost here tonight but you're the hottest", she winks.

"Oh god", Michael groans and we laugh.

A few minutes later Michael and Ariana are in a deep conversation about another Halloween party or some shit and I just watch the people around me.

Suddenly a guy with a monster mask comes closer. I notice him staring at something behind my back and turn around but all I see are Ariana and Michael laughing.

He pushes me aside and I turn around to see what he's doing.

"Ariana?", I hear an unfamiliar voice say behind the mask. Seconds later he pulls off his mask and for a moment it's quiet before Ariana speaks up.

"Ryan?"
