The scroll, though only parchment, felt heavy in Amaris's hands. Arya and Bran Stark were in Winterfell. The Stark siblings were finally reunited, save for Robb. Amaris's heart clenched. Oh, how she wished she could have saved him. He'd been a good friend to her when she was in Winterfell all those years ago and she still mourned his death today, just as she mourned the deaths of every man, woman, and child lost in the fight against the tyranny of the Lannisters.

"My husband thought his siblings were dead," Amaris said, looking at Daenerys.

"I'm happy for you," Daenerys said. She narrowed her eyes. "You don't look happy."

"Bran Stark saw the Night King and his army marching towards Eastwatch. If they make it past the Wall—"

"The Wall has kept them out for thousands of years, presumably," Varys interrupted, glancing between his chosen queen and Amaris.

"I need to go home," Amaris said, curling the scroll back up and handing it to Davos.

"You said you don't have enough men," Daenerys reminded Amaris. Her tone held a mocking edge to it.

"The North will fight with the men we have," Amaris said. She curled her lips back into a snarl. The wolves had begun to rub off on her. "We've no other choice." She smirked. "Unless you'll join us, of course?"

Daenerys's expression showed every thought within her head. She clearly thought Amaris had gone mad.

"And give the country to Cersei?" Daenerys scoffed. "As soon as I march away, she marches in."

That was when Tyrion spoke. "Perhaps not. Cersei thinks the Army of the Dead is nothing but a story made up by wet nurses to frighten children. What if we prove her wrong?"

Amaris laughed shrilly. "I doubt she'll come see the Army of the Dead at my invitation."

"So bring the dead to her," Tyrion urged.

"I thought that was what we were trying to avoid," Daenerys said.

Amaris eyebrows shot up. We? Well, at least she was starting to get somewhere with the Dragon Queen.

"No," Amaris said sternly as she began to realize Tyrion's idea.

"We needn't the whole army. One soldier will do just fine,"

"Is that even possible?" Davos asked.

"The first wight Jon ever saw was brought into Castle Black from beyond the Wall," Amaris said, wringing her hands together. She didn't like this idea, not one bit.
