HMDB 9: Familiar Face

Sehun's POV

Nandito kami ngayon sa Starbucks. My older brother came back here without telling me anything first, kaya niyaya nya ko na magkape muna dahil kailangan daw naming mag-usap. We're half-brothers actually, magkaiba ng mother, but we grew up together kaya close kami. He's only two years older than me so halos nagkakaintindihan talaga kami.

"Sehun," he said with a serious tone. "Who was that girl from your office a while ago?"

"First of all, it's not 'she'," I paused for a while to let it sink in to him. "He is a guy Chanyeol, and he is my secretary. Hindi sya si Ella katulad ng iniisip mo."

His facial expression turned very puzzled. Alam ko naguguluhan sya sa nakita nya. Kahit ako nabigla rin, nung una ko syang makita sa office ko, he looked exactly like Ella. At first I really thought he was Ella, but then I realized, Ella's gone... forever.

"Wait, what?" Gulong tanong ng kapatid ko. "You mean, he's a dude? But it's so strange, he looked exactly like Ella."

I just nodded as a reply. Nagisip sya ng nag-isip habang nakatingin lang ako sa kanya. I know he is confused. I am too, until now. I always feel like I have to protect him kahit ngayon pa lang kami nagkakilala, probably because I see Ella in him. But I don't want to stay like this, he's not Ella, and I have to keep that in mind.

"I don't know bro," he said. "Kanina I almost fainted dahil kinilabutan ako nung nakita ko sya. He looked exactly like the love of my life."

"Shut up!" I yelled at him. "Ella never became yours."

"I didn't say I was referring to Ella," he said teasingly. "I was referring to your secretary." And then he winked at me. Ugh this dude, I can't even... ugh.

And then he laughed very loud. Nakakahiya kasama to. Ano kayang naiisip nito? Baka may naiisip na naman tong kalokohan.

"May pinaplano ka ba?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

"Hmmm I don't know for sure," He said while looking at me straight in the eyes. "You'll see." At tumawa na naman sya ng malakas. Then, he continued. "Ella never became mine yes, that's true. Pero yung secretary mo, let's find out."

"I never knew you're into dude's bro." I told him with a teasing tone.

"I never was," he answered. "but he sure is an exemption."

Luhan's POV

Pagkatapos kong umalis sa office ng boss ko, naisip kong dumiretso sa Mall, since day-off ko naman talaga diba? So enjoy tayo ng slight, kahit papano diba, stress tong week na to andaming ganap! Naisip kong mag milktea dahil antagal ko na rin hindi nakakainom nyan, may kamahalan din kasi. But since next week may sweldo na ko, sige gastos ako ng slight today. Dumiretso ako sa Serenitea at um-order ng Wintermelon milktea. Hindi ko naman favorite tong flavor na to, gusto ko lang i-try kasi naririnig ko sa iba ang sarap daw, so try lang natin.

"Hi sir good morning!" Bati sakin nung babae sa counter. "What can I get for you?"

"I'll have wintermelon milktea, pearls, and 50% sugar level."

"Please make it two." Biglang may nagsalita na lalaking medyo malalim ang boses mula sa tabi ko. Pagtingin ko, yung gwapong guy kanina sa office ni sir na nabangga ko. Antangkad nya, I really had to make an effort para makita mukha nya. Then bigla syang tumingin sakin, at he smirked at me. B*TCH ANG GWAPO! Natulala na lang ako sa kanya. Sino ka ba at bakit ang gwapo mo?!
