When He Realizes His Feelings (Donatello)

Donnie's pov.

An experiment blew up in his face...again. This was the 12th time this week things he has been working on had blown up. That's because his mind would often wander towards Maila. Her beauty was like no other, her child-like emotions gave him something to always smile about, her love for science and her secret love for a forbidden romance that she often told and giggled dreamily about.

The way she smiles makes his cheeks set aflame, her gaze makes him smile, but oh how he hates his stuttering when he's with her. He wishes he could just man up and tell her how he felt. Indeed he now had realized his love for Maila, faster than the others have realized their love for the human girls.

He hated being so shy around Maila, and he blushes whenever his brothers caught him making what they call, 'goo goo' eyes at her. Of course he was embarrassed, but of course, he would tease them right back when they stared at their future special other walks out of the room.

He hopes that Maila feels the same way about him.
