I woke up to loud thunder and raining, hearing Mela and Maila's whimpering. I sat up and looked at the door which was wide open. Then at my guitar, I brought from the apartment in the corner of the room.

I sighed heavily and grabbed it, pulling up a chair and sitting in front of my younger sibling's bed-side. I smiled down at them reassuringly as they cuddled up to each other, waiting for me to begin, just like every other stormy night they woke up to.

I took a deep breath and began my song.

I smiled as their eyes began to droop sleepily. Their hands now intertwined and slowly fell asleep. The storm now only the sounds of gentle rain. I stood quietly and returned my guitar and the chair back at their previous places and turned to see Leo at the door smiling proudly. I squeaked in surprise and nearly tripped over my feet, but he was at my side in seconds as he helped me steady myself.

"T...Thanks, Leo." I whispered softly, not wanting to wake up my sisters.  

"No problem, and by the way, you sing very well. That song was beautiful."He commented softly, his hands cupping mine. I smiled up at him, my blush hidden in the darkness.

"Thanks, Leo, I have to sing that song EVERY time a storm is here. Hopefully, Donatello and Michelangelo help them with their fears. Just like how Raph is slowly helping Rain with hers."I chuckled softly as Leo tilted his head in confusion.

"What do you mean by that?"He asked.

"Well..."I bit my lip nervously, not knowing he was blushing at how cute I was when I was nervously biting my lip.

"They have feelings for you brothers Leo. It may be just friendship for now, but I'm hoping it would blossom into something more. My sisters have had nobody except I to understand how they felt. Mela is lonely and anti-social, Mikey is slowly bringing out her social side, she isn't as awkward as she once was to talk about things she likes to do. Maila has always wanted someone to understand and love her passions just as much as she does, nobody could understand what she was talking about, and then has to re-explain what she said using normal words we can understand. Donnie understood her from the start, she can now have more science-related topics with someone who actually understands her and nerds out along with her. Then there's Rain, she's misunderstood so much, everyone at school that she went to...thought of her like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode if set off, everyone avoided her. Nobody gave her a chance to show her true self-other then me. Now Raph is helping her break down her walls that she fights so hard to keep up. He's like her you know, they want attention but they don't know how to properly use them. Their anger is their greatest weapon, their anger rivals each other's, but they are slowly letting their walls down together, but not with the rest. Because only they can understand how the other feels. We only make it worse. Now I realize how much I try to help them, they've even grown dependent on me, and I can only depend on myself now."I replied softly.

"No. You have Splinter and me to understand. I hope your sisters make my brothers happy. They all deserve that kind of emotion."Leo smiled before pulling me into a hug. I returned it before pulling away. 

"Goodnight Leo."I smiled.

"This may not be the best time...but...Mikey is also scared of thunderstorms so..."Leo hesitated to go further. I smirked and grabbed my guitar.

"Let's get him to go to sleep then."I chuckled as we walked towards Mikey's room together to help him fall back asleep.
