Maila's pov.

I walked into an abandoned park and sat down on an old bench which somehow remained untouched and clean. The night sky calming and beautiful.

"Hello, little cub." A familiar voice pulled me out of my thoughts, I froze in anger. I turned to see Morgan, my ex-girlfriend. She smiled innocently, ignoring my glare.

"How have you been, Mai Mai?"She asked with no interest.

"I'm doing fine, I got a boyfriend to get home to, goodbye Morgan."I scowled as I stood. But she was suddenly right in front of me and pinned me to the bench. I struggled to get out of her iron grip.

"I missed you my little cub, dump your pathetic boyfriend and be with me."She whispered into my ear. I only struggled more.

"No! He's not like you! He doesn't use me for money, he didn't cheat on me, and never used me to gain popularity!"I yelled, managing to kick her away.

"Oh my dear Mai Mai, you're still mad about that? I only did that to get you jealous so you'd pay more attention to me, I like getting spoiled by little treats and shopping."She lied as she tried to grab my arm.

"Leave me alone Morgan! I'm not interested in you anymore, I don't love you, I don't care how mad you get, but I'll never let you use me again!"I snarled. But she then pulled out a gun and pointed it at me. I froze in fear.

"You will give me all your money, you did have a loaded momma. I still love you little cub."She smirked evilly. I quickly pressed an emergency signal for Donnie to find me and decided to hold her off for as long as I can.

"You still love me?"I asked her, trying to avoid being shot. She smiled, thinking she was getting somewhere.

"I do baby, I really do!"She lied, lowering her gun slightly.

"Why did you cheat on me when you knew what would happen?"I asked, fakely pouting.

"I only did it to get you, jealous baby! I could have gotten money from him for the two of us."She lied. She knew she would have kept it for herself, to which I knew her too well.

I glanced and saw Donnie behind her, but Morgan didn't notice.

"You're a lier Morgan, did you really think I'd take you back?"I hissed. She glared at me and raised her gun, about ready to turn off the safety. But Donnie threw a ninja star at the only street light and then quickly hit the gun out of Morgan's hand, she screamed in terror of being in the dark. Donnie scooped me up in his arms and ran, grabbing the ninja star he threw and took me back home.

"Are you hurt? Any pain? What did she want?!" Donnie checked me up and down as he went to grab a med kit just in case. But I grabbed his hands and held them firmly.

"Donnie I'm fine, there's no bruising, no pain, just shocked and a bit frightened, "I reassured him.

"Ok...good."He spoke slowly before pulling me into a hug.

The rest of the night was spent cuddling in his lab, so his worries could melt away.
