--"is he awake yet?" I hear a familiar voice

"Not yet, he has finally started to show signs of consciousness slowly, he hasn't woke fully but his medical observations have improved and his breathing and moving has improved alarmingly" said a voice- the nurse I assume

The lady began to cry "thank god" ---I knew that voice. ....but where?

I slowly begin to open my eyes, I blink rapidly and my vision starts to clear, it's Taylor, from the hospital.

"T--taa--yy-loo-r" I croak, my voice sounds broken and raspy

"Oh my dear he's awake finally, I must go get the doctor. Oh and Ashton dear try not to talk you have a lot of damage to your throat and vocal cords lovely" she gives a sympathetic smile and walks out -- to find the doctor.

"Ashton thank God your alive" Taylor cries, she grabs my hand

"We were all so worried about you "

I wanted to talk but before I could say anything Taylor cuts me off

"No sweetie you heard the nurse please rest your voice, you were left for a while, if I hadn't of felt something was wrong and came and checked on you , you could of---" she broke down crying more.

I was shocked to see her cry...

It was silent for a while then Taylor wiped her tears and spoke

"Ash I have to tell you something... while you were unconscious we contacted your parents as you are still under 18 and we needed parent consent to give you electric shock therapy to help with Niall. Now I know you can't speak but was it him who told you to do this?"

I was shocked, they shocked my brain? Niall's gone. Then I nodded.

"Now I know this is a lot to process but we saw no other choice sweetheart, ECT works for a lot of schitzophrenics and I was actually the one who suggested it"

I nodded

"We just want to help you in the best way possible"

I weakly smiled and nodded

"I'm so glad you're still alive" Taylor added and gave me a hug. 

I began to hear footsteps and the curtain opened, A tall man with rimmed glasses and a mustache walked in with a clipboard; the doctor

"Hello Ashton, good to see you made the recovery we were all hoping for, I'm Dr Warrington now I am unsure if you are aware we undergo Electric Shock Therapy while you were unconcious"

I nodded

"Now we are going to keep you in with us for a few more days under observation until we believe you are well enough to return back to the ward"

I  nodded again

A/N hey y'all I'm back.  After a year and a bit😂😂 hope you all enjoy this chapter I wrote at almost 12 am felt like continuing this story again
