You were seated at the dining table, sipping on your cup of coffee. Michael was seated across from you, and he was reading the newspaper. The dining room was silent, and the maids were standing at different corners of the room. It was six in the morning, and Lily was still getting ready to come down for breakfast. Michael had a serious expression painted on his face, and you couldn't help but stare. You wanted to figure him out, but you knew that would take ages.

"You're staring," Michael remarked, closing the newspaper and looking at you. The two of you were to be married tomorrow, so you had quite a lot to get organized.

"Aren't I allowed to stare?" you raised an eyebrow. "After all, I am going to be your wife,"

Michael seemed slightly amused, and he stared at you for a long moment before Lily came running into the dining room, her personal maid, Leah, right behind her. Leah laughed as Lily ran up to you.

"Good morning," you grinned, lifting her up and placing her on your lap. "Someone looks happy,"

Lily giggled and kissed your cheek before getting off of your lap. She ran to Michael and gave him a hug before moving to take her seat at the table. You could not stop smiling at the little girl, she brought so much joy to everyone. Nobody could dislike her.

"Well," Michael inhaled deeply as he stood up. "I must get to work, I have a meeting with the prime minister," he bit his lip gently. "(Y/N), what are your plans for today?" he inquired.

"I have to go for my dress fitting," you responded. "The wedding is-"

"Tomorrow," Michael cut you off. "I know that," he smiled slightly before turning to leave the room. "Take care," was all he said before he disappeared.

"Great, daddy's busy again," Lily's face fell slightly. "Why doesn't he have time for us?" she questioned.

"Well, darling, he is the king," you answered softly. "And the king has responsibilities that he can't abandon. He's in charge of the entire country's well being,"

Lily lowered her gaze. Today, you would be meeting with Maria, and she would be accompanying you to the dress fitting. You stared at your daughter before breaking into a small smile.

"How about we go out together, today?" you suggested. "We can go for my dress fitting together, and you can meet my best friend, Maria,"

Lily's face lit up, and she nodded. She was adorable. You giggled and stood up.

"Well then, let's go and get ready, shall we?"

"We shall!" she clapped her hands happily.

She was precious, and her smiles were the brightest thing on the face of the earth. Half of you was excited, and half of you was nervous. In less than twenty four hours, you were going to become the queen.

Am I ready for this?

Half an hour later, you were walking the streets with Maria and Lily. Your best friend had met your daughter, and they got along extremely well. They were very much alike, and that made you smile. You were all on your way to the dressmaker's store, and you were excited to see Ella. She always made wonderful dresses that suited you. Maria was talking, and she still couldn't believe that you were going to be queen.

"Does it ever get boring at the palace?" Maria questioned, chewing on her lip. "I mean, you have people to do everything for you, right?" she was holding onto Lily's hand.
