You giggled as Michael kissed your cheek, his arms wrapped around you from behind. The both of you were standing in front of the full length mirror, in the bedroom that the both of you shared. Your wedding ring glistened extravagantly, the token of your love for Michael, and his love for you. For four long years, the both of you had been married, and the romance hadn't died out.

The pair of you were still very much in love.

It was seven in the morning, and Michael was prepared to leave the house for a meeting with his manager, Frank. In an hour, you would be getting ready for work as well - you worked as a nurse, and despite the fact that you didn't need a job, you liked to earn money for yourself.

It was far better than staying home all day, doing nothing. As a nurse, you got to help people - and that made you happy.

"You're so beautiful," he whispered, staring at your reflection. "I never want you to forget that," he grinned as you turned around to face him, wrapping your arms around his neck as his hands sat on your waist.

"And you're one of the most beautiful people I know," you kissed his cheek. "I never want you to forget that,"

"You give me too much credit," he rolled his eyes playfully.

"I don't give you enough," you smiled widely.

"That's my line," he frowned a little.

"Not for today, it isn't," you flashed him a cute grin before pulling away from him.

"I don't want to go for the meeting," he groaned as you walked over to his closet, opening it and fetching his thick, black coat. It was freezing, and you wanted your husband to be warm.

"Well, Frank really wants to see you," you giggled as you shut the closet doors. "Don't cancel on him now, or he'll be upset,"

"I know, he'll have a fit," Michael sighed as you walked up to him, handing your husband the coat.

"Keep warm," you breathed. "And keep safe,"

"As long as you promise to do the same," he raised an eyebrow.

"I promise," you nodded as he put the coat on, making his way toward the bedroom door. "Take care,"

Michael stopped, turning around to look at you. He pulled you close and kissed your forehead, a smile on his face.

"I'll see you this evening," he whisperd before turning around and walking out. "Bye, my love!"

"Bye!" you laughed.

Michael walked out, shutting the door behind him - and leaving you on your own.

"Well," you said to yourself. "It's time for me to get ready,"

Upon arriving at work, you realized that a lot of the staff members at the hospital were absent. The place was empty, making you frown. You had on your white coat, walking up to the receptionist - Lily.

Lily was a middle aged woman, and she had very pale skin. Her hair was black, and her eyes were bright green. Her lips were thin, and she wore big, round glasses.

She was a tiny lady, and when she wanted to be - she was adorable. However, most of the time - she was stern, and formidable.
