Beforehand

His gaze is very intimidating as hell.

I can't concentrate.

I can't move with confidence.

He continue to do what he is doing to me right now. I wanted to protest, to tell him to stop what he is doing but damn, I cannot.

"Is there any problem, Lady?" He asked, still having that eye contact. "It seems, you are distracted."

Your intensive gaze is very uncomfortable to look at.

I shook my head. "My apologies, Mister. Shall we continue, ladies and gentlemen?"

I continue to do my presentation but I never looked again at his face or ever cross the line; meeting his intense and intimidating stares.

"Any further questions, please?" I asked before I end my presentation.

He raised his hand. "Yes, Mr. Buenafe?" I asked, forcing myself to look back to his intimidating brown eyes.

"Are you trying to avoid my eye contact of you?" He asked, with no drip of expression on his face. All the board members were looking at him, confused.

What is he talking about?

"N-no." I stammered. But I gather up all my strength to ask a question. "But may I ask what is your question regarding my presentation?"

"It seems you don't want me to be here, Sr. Architect Kim." He told me. I don't understand his point!

"Pardon, Sr. Engr. Buenafe?"

"Any further questions regarding the presentation of Sr. Architect Kim aside from me?" He asked the board, not minding what I have asked a while ago.

The board room went silent. No single question was raised.

"Meeting ajourned." He proclaimed as everyone walked out in the room. I was about to fix my things when he called my attention. "Please remain, Ms. Kim." I was frozed at that moment he called my name. "I'm not done with you."

His voice was deep as well and very husky. It makes my head turn to his gaze again and he was already on the doorstep and locked the door. He was fast!

I felt my knees wobble but I didnt mind. I can't give him a single hint that I am nervous with his company. I urged to look at his face. He has wearing the same intimidating face. What did I do to you, Senior Engineer Shaun Maiko Buenafe?

What did I do to make you stare at me like that?

"Nervous?" He asked wearing his loopsided smile as he leans the dark glass sliding door; crossing his arms. I was like a prey and he was the predator ready to eat me. How did he know? Am I that obvious enough?

And hell, why I am feeling this way? I am the Senior Architect and I can order him to f-k off right now!

"Please tell me what do you want, Mr. Buenafe. Do you want something to change?" I remained to be calm as I was checking back my presentation despite of the nervous and awkward feeling has enveloping me. "I have tons of paperworks to do in my office."

He didn't answer, much to my disgust. He never opened his mouth to speak but he has still that hot, melting eye contact that any minute, I'm gonna lose my sanity. He started to take some steps towards me. I heared my heart started to beat exasperately. I was nervous of his stares...
