"Good afternoon ladies and gentleman. We have been just cleared to land at the Vancouver International Airport. Please make sure one last time your seatbelt is securely fastened. Thank you." I was awaken by the sound of a lady flight attendant making her announcement. I blinked twice to accustom my eyes to the surroundings and as I looked unto my right side and I caught the young lady beside me staring at me in discreet. She's been inconspicuously glancing at me for some time throughout the duration of the flight. I've been ignoring her stares until now.

"Is there any problem you would like to discuss with me, miss?" Said in a low, baritone voice. She immediately pushed herself back and looked at me, her eyes widened like saucers. She was clearly intimidated and shocked by my sudden question; she might've thought that I'm still pretty asleep on my chair. I was still looking straight into her eyes emotionless, seeking for her response.

She cleared her throat unknowingly and shook her head. "N-no, nothing." A small, awkward laugh escaped from her lips and immediately turned her face back from me. I just shrugged and fastened my seatbelt as we are close to land at the airport. This country brings me back a lot of memories to reminisce. This is the country I've always wanted to live in, and this is the country I made my lady become mine. And now, this is the country where we'll meet again and fall in love with her once again.

After I went into the immigration, I grabbed my luggage and immediately hurried towards my domestic airflight to Fort McMurray this afternoon. As I was about to find my seat, I saw the same lady who was my seatmate earlier to my flight to Vancouver. She immediately saw me and waved her hand as if she already knew me. Earlier, she was so hesitant and awkwardly speaking towards me and now she's as jolly as a bee. She's a bipolar. My seat was situated in 01E which was fortunately beside her. "Hi! It's you again." She greeted and I just looked at her impassively as I placed my carry-on luggage to the overhead compartment of the aircraft.

"You're going to Fort Mac?" I just nodded and didn't care about her presence. Well, I wouldn't come to this aircraft if I'm not going there, am I right?

"What are you doing in there? Going for work?" She asks, eyes darting into mine as she puts her right elbow on the armrest while her head rest on her hand. This girl is nuts. She is too much friendly and talkative to someone stranger like me, I must say.

"No."

"For what then?" She continue to gaze at my face.

"I'm going to see my wife." I looked at her without putting any expression to my eyes. I want her to shut my mouth because I'm tired of this flight and I don't have a time to deal with any of her future conversations with me. She's clearly interested into me and I swear to god, she is more annoying than my sister, Fiona. She immediately pulled her arms back to herself while she gaped. I could see her secretly looking at my left hand. She might be looking for a wedding band. So what if I don't have that wedding band yet?

"Oh..."And she never speak any word once again.

"Are you ready?"

"Shaun naman, you don't have to do this. Kaya ko naman 'to." Sita ko sa kanya. Tatawag na sana ako ng taxi nang makita ko siya nagmamadaling bumababa sa hagdan. Hingal na hingal pa siya habang sinusuot niya ang makapal nyang coat. Alam niya na may check-up ako ngayon sa OB ko. "May trabaho ka pa ngayon sa site, di'ba?"
