Silent Jealousy

It was a long day today. Good vibes na sana ako kanina, sinira pa ng magandang bestfriend ko. She's really beautiful na tipong gusto ko siyang sabunutan sa buhok para malaman nya kung gaano akong naiinis sa kanya pero kaso mabait ako, pinikit ko na lang ang mga mata ko ang pretend that nothing happend. For Holy God's sake! I didn't had sex with my bestfriend's brother!

"You had sex with my brother last night aren't you Saab Cathriona?" She pulled up her car and looked at me. Her eyes were sparkling like a diamond; feeling excited with my answer. Parang gusto nya na may nangyari sa amin kagabi eh which I don't approve. May fiancé ako! TAKE NOTE! My eyes widened like saucers as my face were in complete shock. Sa lahat ba pwedeng ibintang sa'kin ni Fiona, iyon pa?! Seriously?! Ganon ba talaga ang tingin nya sa'kin? Wala nga kaming relasyon sa isa't isa, sex pa kaya? Naku! Nakakabwiset lang talaga!

"O, di ka makapagsalita dyan? Totoo ano?" She murmurs. She's one of a heck crazy woman! Hindi ko alam kung paano ako makakapagsalita dahil mismo ang buong sistema ko ay nagulat. Walang boses na lumalabas sa bunganga ko. I was caught off the guard! Hindi ko iyon inexpect sa kanya. I don't even know how should I act. I was awaken by my senses when I heared kuya Thaddeus growl. "Hand the handset to Fiona." It was firm and serious.

"D-don't mind Fiona, she's jok-" I stopped in mid-sentence when he interups me. "NOW!"

"B-but..."I tried to calm him down. Alam ko ang ugali ng kapatid nya, I know it was hilarious but I really know she really don't mean it that much. As much as I did calm him down, he never did. Instead, I made him more angry.

"I said NOW!"

I was shivering in fear when I handed my phone to Fiona. Alam ko na ang hahantungan ng pag-uusap nila. I just hope hindi lalala ito. I shook my head.

Another big trouble again.

It was already six in the evening at papalabas na sana ako nang makita ko si mommy na pumasok sa office ko.

"M-mom?! What are you doing in here?" I was surprised by her unexpected prescence.

"Oh honey..." She hugs me tight. "I was worried about you alright? Thaddeus called me yesterday that you have hurted your hand. I wanted to fly immediately here but I just can't. The weather isn't good yesterday so I need to wait for the next day. I'm really, really sorry honey."

"Mom I'm okay. 'Wag ka masyadong mag-aalala. I'm fine." I murmur trying to ease her worriness. She pulled away and frowned at me. "No you're not! See your hand, you got fractured. Is that you call okay, Saab? You know it's not! Hahayaan mo na nga sana 'yan but he insisted to go to the hospital. Pa'no na lang kung wala si Thaddeus? Mamimilipit ka sa sakit ng fracture mo? Remember, you're not getting any younger!" Ugh, sumbungero talaga si kuya. He's more overprotective than my own family. Parang siya pa ang kapatid ko compared with my kuya Yong.

"Hindi naman sa ganoon, ma. I have an important appointment yesterday at hindi ko pwedeng hahayaan na lang iyon nang basta basta. I have to present." I reasoned.

"Come to think of it honey, kung hahabulin mo ang important appointment na sinasabi mo, do you think they will allow you to present in that situation? Even your client won't even allow you! Kahit ikaw pa ang senior architect ng firm nyo, you are not eligible to do your job. They will understand you because it's an accident and you don't like what happened to you alright? Hindi mo naman sinadyang ma-fracture ka." She told me. "Like right now, they give you an extension and you still got the deal. Congratulations, honey!" She smiled at me. Bipolar lang si mommy?
