Sweet, Spectacular Fail

T'was a breezy cold morning as I snuggled my head more on the fresh scent of my pillows tending to get more sleep. I pulled up my thick pink-colored blanket to resist the coldness of the weather.

I hope Shaun can warmth me up today. I murmured inside my head. I could still feel his long passionate kiss we had the other night before he left. I grinned like a crazy school girl when I remember that. Oh god I'm going nuts!

So much of that hoity-toity feeling, I was about to sleep back when I heared my oh-so-cutie patootie ringtone that made me got up. Ugh! I am having my beauty rest before my wedding!

I lazily picked my phone not minding whose name was plastered on the caller ID and answered it in a very, very lazy voice too. "Hellooo?"

"Buenos diaz mi muñequita!" He spoked in a well spanish accent. It was Shaun! Hell, how come I didn't know it was my fiancé calling me! Silly me! "Did I disturb your deep slumber?"

"H-hey, mi querido." I stuttered. "N-no! I just woke up. Good morning too!"

"That's good." he muttered. "How are you?"

"Feeling cold." I confessed.

"Can I warmth you up, mi muñequita? I really want to cuddle with you right this instant." His voice were so sexy to resist.

"You know we can't." I said in a low voice. "Alam mo naman na bawal tayong magkita bago ang kasal. Bilin iyon ng mommy mo, remember?" I want you right now in my bed cuddling with you the whole day but yet, we just can't for now.

"I know, but its only a superstition." He murmured.

"Galangin lang natin ang mga magulang natin, Shaun. They're doing this for our sake." I told him, rejecting my want of him. Oh my hormones, stop doing some adrenaline rush inside of me please? "We can wait until tonight, right?"

"There's something for you at the doorstep, muñequita." He says, not minding my question I've asked him. But, alam ko naman na makapaghintay siya mamaya matapos kaming ikakasal. And I will too.

"Yes, I'm coming over to my doorstep." I got up from my bed, sliding on my robe and headed unto my doorstep. I opened it and saw a basket of red roses and a big plushy teddy bear. I gasped.

"What did you see on the doorstep, muñequita?" I was dumbstrucked. I couldn't find the words to say how much I appreciated his sweet, spectacular gestures he always made throughout this relationship. He always suprises me.

"Mi muñequita, are you okay? Please speak up." He says in a very worried voice.

There I found my voice again and said, giggling. "Yes, I'm okay. I-I was just so happy to bring me this basket of roses and a plushy teddy bear and its smell resemble your hypnotizing scent." I told him as I picked those fresh red roses and hugged the teddy bear unto my chest. I pushed the door back using my feet and continue to talk to him. "Oh I missed you more, mi querido. I want to linger on you forever." I smiled seductively as I put the basket on my ochery colored coffee table.

"And so do I, mi muñequita." He said in a husky voice as ever.

Oh Shaun...

"See you later on the wedding." I said, excitedly.

"Mmm."

"I love you."

"I love you more, mi muñequita." He told me before he ended the call.
