"He seems to be resisting the commands to come here. We have even offered the chance of money, the prepaid round trip here, everything. And he refuses to come," Jay explained, seating himself gently on the edge of my neatly decorated bed.
"I don't blame him," I muttered into my hands, sniffling and rubbing away the dried tears, resisting the urge for a whole new wave of them to come.
"Princess, why are you so worried about this? Why are you so upset? I didn't think you would react quite this bad, even with your thoughts on this process," Jay enquired, his forehead wrinkling in concern.
"Because, Jay, I know who this certain boy is," I stated slowly, gazing at him sadly. "He's majorly famous. Majorly. Do you know how many people are going to want to kill me now? Plus, he has a freaking girlfriend. A girlfriend, who, from my studies, is very involved with him, and they where thinking about marriage and everything. He probably thinks he's being punked or something."
"What's being punked mean?" Jay asked, puzzled, before shaking his head and sighing. "Nevermind, doesn't matter. What does matter is that you will be fine. You have lots of people around here to protect you. No one is going to get to you, or try and kill you."
"Not my point," I sighed. "Nevermind. The point is, I wish it was someone besides Liam James Payne."
"You know his middle name?" Jay said, slight amusement clear in his voice, paired with raises eyebrows. "What, did you come up here and research him, princess?"
"No, Jay, he's part of an internationally popular boyband. A band that I happen to like, so basically, I knew everything about him already," I stated with an exhausted sigh, flopping back onto my bed. "Can I just go back to bed?"
"Princess, it's ten o'clock in the morning. You need to get up for your daily duties, and head to your lessons," Jay chuckeled, pushing himself up to a standing position. "I'll leave you too it. Remember to be down in the dining hall in a few minutes to get your chores. Okay?"
"Yeah, okay, fine," I sighed, shooing him away with my hands.
"Oh, and Princess Sage?" He froze right before stepping out of the door, giving me a tiny smile. "You know you an always talk to me, right? About anything really. I'm always here with open ears!"
"Of course," I nodded, dismissing him with a wave of my hand. "Thanks Jay. I appreciate it."
"Anytime princess," He murmured, disappearing out the wooden door, letting the metal clink against the doorframe, silence over taking the room.
Clearing my throat with a semi loud gulp, I made my way off my bed, stalking to my closet and throwing open the creaky wooden doors. My fingers thumbed through the color coded selection of dressed, finally deciding on one of my new ones.
It was a Cinderella blue color, that was similar to her dress, except a tad shorter for the season of summer. I pulled it on, tugging out the wrinkles and creases in it until it looked perfect. Slipping on a pair of white flipflops, I stalked to my ajoined bathroom to do my hair in makeup.
A few minutes later, my hair straightened to around my shoulder, a piece of hair flopped over to represent side bangs. Light makeup had been applied on my face, including a thin layer of mascara and eyeliner, and a light pink color of eyeshadow. Rolling my lips together, I spread the sparkly pink lipgloss one last time, before stepping out of my room, heading for the dining hall for morning chores.
"Good morning, princess," Multiple guards greeted me as I shuffled down the dark brown and grey hallways. I waved faintly to all of them, plastering on a fake smile so that my father would not get reports of me being rude later on.
