National Finals

Just remember that not all of these characters are humans. I'm writing this in case anyone forgot.

Today was the day, this was the day where all the big schools from all around the country participate to win the big cup. They were located in a Stadium that has been used for the Olympics before. The big four schools, Mushroom High, Flowers Academy High, Nintendo High and Super Star High are going to participate. The big four participated in the Regional Round 4 weeks ago. These were the postitions of the junior boys and girls.

3rd - Mushroom High

The final result overall is:

1st - Flowers Academy

4th - Mushroom High

Mushroom High were travelling by coach to the stadium. Once they arrived, they saw how crowded it is. 

"I can't wait to run in this track, it may not be the biggest and best stadium in the USA but it is still amazing!" Mario said, "I'm glad that this time I'm not racing Djhon!"

"I'm not either!" Yoshi said, "There are 3 races!"

The Mushroom High team arrived at the stadium. The competition started at 10am, it was currently 9:30, that was enough time for them to get warmed up and ready to start the day. The first event was Hurdles for the Junior Girls, unfortunately there was a slight headwind in the arena but that shouldn't stop Daisy from trying to get sub 13 in hurdles. Like always it was electronic timing!

At 9.55 the announcement was made! It was the same official as the one in regional round.

"Good morning everyone! It's nice to see a high attendance for a hopefully wonderful competition! There are four schools who I have seen perform so well in the last round. These four schools are here today. There are eight other schools here too and I hope for a wonderful day! We start off with the Junior Girls Hurdles race and lets hope for a wonderful way to start the day!" 

Daisy got up and was warming up. Her race was first out of three. She had the fastest flowers girl racing her again! She was in lane 6 for this 80m hurdles! A huge crowd were watching. There were only a few empty seats in sight at this stadium.

"Take your marks!" The official said!

The girls got into starting positions!

"SET!" Gunshot!

The race started, Daisy had a perfect start and was in the lead, 50 metres in Daisy could hear the Flower's girl panting and catching up, at the end of the race they were neck and neck! This either meant Daisy ran a PB or the Flowers girl didn't have her best race! They both got a time of 12.8 which was a PB for Daisy!

Once Daisy returned, everyone gave her credit for beating her time and getting extra points for the Junior Girls team. The other two races went and Super Star girls won both of them! So they clearly didn't come out to play in this final!

"Those girls both ran 12.6!" Mario said shocked.

"It will be a hard contest!" Rosalina said!

Waluigi was running in the first race, Troops was running in the third race!
