Yugi Muto vs Ghost Kaiba part 1

Kemo laughed as he saw Yami getting nervous, "Yugi, you don't have a ghost of a chance beating Kaiba, because this time he is a ghost."  

"A ghost?!" Yami exclaimed, in shock. Lea just grimaced in fright...

"Stop it, Kemo!" Mokuba snapped. 

"It's a fact. Two witnesses saw him fall to his doom." Kemo replied, sinisterly. Everyone gasped at what they just heard Kemo say! 

"Liar! Take back what you said!" Mokuba snapped, defensively. 

"Get used to it. All that's left of Kaiba are your memories." Kemo scoffed, before he turned around to face the ghost Kaiba and continued.

"Plus, a very cranky ghost is just looking for revenge."

"It's not him!" Yami snapped. 

"Well, he's seen better days. It's time to duel, with the ghoul." Kemo taunted.

"It can't be! That guy's nothing but a fake, a trick by Pegasus!" Yami fired, before he eyed Mokuba and spoke to him reassuringly. 

"Don't worry, Mokuba. I'll win your freedom. Then we'll find your brother."

What Yami said made Lea put her hands together as in prayer, and she shut her eyes as she thought to herself, 'Please, Yugi. Please win, for Mokuba's sake.'

Yami then obviously noticed what Lea was doing, so he turned his head to face her and saw that she was praying for Mokuba's safety. After Lea opened her eyes, her eyes widened when she noticed that Yami was looking at her. He then gave her a smirk and a friendly wink, which made Lea smile softly and she nodded. 

With that, Yami went to the right side of the stadium, and he was lifted up to face Kaiba, feeling prepared to duel him. 

"Yugi, you look like you've seen a ghost." Kaiba taunted.

"That's enough!" Yami snapped back.

"I am no longer of this world, and it's all because of you." Kaiba started, which made Yami snarl in reply at what Kaiba was saying! 

"I could have had it all, but when you beat me, you took more than just the match. You stole my life and destroyed my soul." Kaiba continued. 

"You're nothing but an imposter, so stop the lies and let's start the duel!" Yami snapped, getting annoyed by now. 

Kaiba furrowed his eyes in determination and replied with, "Fine with me. This time, you won't beat my cards."

"You might look like Kaiba, but there is no way you can imitate his deck!" Yami fired. 

"You mean my deck." Kaiba corrected, which made Yami snarl. 

"Beat him, Yugi! He's nothing but a fake!" Mokuba cheered Yami on. 

"Yeah! That ghost don't even look like Kaiba!" Joey chimed in, as he ranted.

"That's right!" Tea agreed, before she realized what she just said...

"Wait! I mean, it's not a ghost, and it's not Kaiba." She corrected herself, a bit awkwardly.

"Get him, Yugi!" Tristan cheered Yami on.

"You can do it, Yugi!" Lea chimed in. 

Yami nodded in reply to all of his friends, then he lifted up his head to face Kaiba. 

'Yugi, I know you can hear me. I know you can sense my thoughts, and I know that you can see the truth. I am Kaiba, but this time you're dueling someone who's got nothing to lose.' Kaiba thought to himself, then he faced Kemo and spoke up with determination.

"Kemo, once I beat Yugi, Pegasus can have Kaiba Corporation. All I want is revenge."

Kemo smirked at Kaiba's idea, and with that, Kaiba turned to face Yami and said tauntingly to him as he gestured to his glove that held the star chips, "Three stars says I win."

"Fine by me. That means when the duel is done, I'll have six!" Yami agreed, in determination. 

"Let's duel." Kaiba said coolly, before he picked up his cards and chose one of them.

"Guess I'll go first." He announced, before he placed one his cards down in front of himself.

"And I'll start off with the Hitotsu-Me Giant."

Then his Hitotsu-Me Giant summoned on the appeared! Yami stared at the monster in awe! 

"Mmm. Is something wrong? It's your turn to move, Yugi." Kaiba taunted. 

'The Hitotsu-Me Giant is how Kaiba began our last duel.' Yami thought to himself, a bit nervously. 

"There's a card just like that in my brother's deck." Mokuba said to himself, in awe.

"Hey, just cause it's the same card doesn't mean it's the same deck!" Joey snapped, a bit defensively.

Then all of a sudden, Lea bluntly hit Joey on his back with her staff. Joey turned his head to face her as he was wincing and rubbing his sore back, and he gave her a bit of a dirty look...

"Joey, shut up!" She snapped, defensively.

As Yami looked at Kaiba's monster for a moment, he thought to himself, 'He's trying to confuse me by making the same opening move that Kaiba did, but it'll have the same result.' 

Then he picked up his first card and spoke in determination, "I'll start with this card."

With that, he placed the card down in front of himself and summoned his monster, "Go, Dark Magician! With an attack strength of 2500!"

Then the Dark Magician appeared on the field!

"Dark magic attack!" Yami commanded his monster, as the Dark Magician attacked Kaiba's monster, and with that, it was now gone! 

"So much for your giant." Yami grinned, as Kaiba's life points went down to 700! 

Kaiba just chuckled and shrugged his shoulders as if he didn't care, "You're as strong as ever, Yugi." 

Yami glared at Kaiba as Kaiba just laughed at him.

"Did you see that?! That carbon-copy Kaiba is laughin'!" Joey exclaimed.  

Kaiba just kept laughing until he said, "It's funny how things have come full circle, Yugi. What are you thinking in that feeble brain of your's right now? I bet I know. You've come to the conclusion that no matter what, there's no way you can win, and you couldn't be more right. Even a simpleton like you now knows that I must be Seto Kaiba, and once you accept that fact, you may as well accept defeat." 

"I don't care who you are! You're going to lose to me just the same!" Yami shot back.

"But, Yugi! You barely beat me the last time we dueled. And this time your big advantage is gone." Kaiba scoffed. 

"What do you mean?" Yami demanded. 

Kaiba snickered to himself for a moment until he said, "Exodia. You've lost Exodia."

Yami was shocked to hear what Kaiba said! 

"You could only beat me with Exodia in your deck. And without it, you can only lose." Kaiba taunted, before he laughed.

As Kaiba laughed, Yami was now starting to lose hope!
