Alright, lemme explain my canon so far in the Black Wolf verse.
As I mentioned in a previous chapter, Bucky knew Laurel and Sara since so childhood. Bucky was born to Michelle Barnes and Lieutenant Alexander Barnes of U.S. Army who died in 1996 following an accident at the military
In 2006, Laurel finds out about Oliver's affair with Sara which ended the relationship between Laurel and Oliver. Bucky was there to comfort her despite the temptation of him kissing her right away due to his unresolved feelings for her. A year later, she found about Sara being among the victims of the shipwreck of Queen's Gambit. Bucky once again was there to comfort her and soon enough they started to date each other. they'd been together for three years despite the long distance between him and her whenever he gets deployed.
In 2009, Just two weeks before he was due to go back home, his unit were ambushed and he was fatally wounded losing an arm in the process.
He nearly died at the operating table but as he got out of surgery he was taken in by Amanda Waller for the Winter Soldier Project, an attempt to create the perfect soldier who then faked his death to cover her tracks. Argus scientists removed the remnants of his severed arm and replaced it with a cybernetic arm made out of Nth Metal. Then he was subjected to a super soldier serum called 56898. All of his physical capabilities were enhanced to early superhuman conditions. He'd learned all of Argus fighting techniques, protocols, hacking, all the languages known to man, you name it. So in case he tried to escape, Waller had installed a few trigger words into his mind to keep Bucky under control sort to speak.
For three years he's been one of the most deadly Argus elite operatives completing missions that would be deem impossible to do. Until one day in June 2012 he'd managed to escape from ARGUS with the help from Dr. Hamilton who was a part of the Winter Soldier Project. There he took refugee in Hindu Kush Mountains, Nanda Parbat.
