"Jimin, come back!" Chaeyoung cried. But it was too late. It was definitely too late.
The mirror was broken, full of cracks. How could she heal them? Tears rolled down Chaeyoungs cheeks. Did she lose Jimin now? Is he still in there? Did this kill him somehow?
Chaeyoung kept on thinking all day if there was something like a spell that would heal the mirror, but of course there wasn't. No matter how many times she shouted out Jimins name, he did not come back.
That night she went to sleep without having dinner.

The next day Chaeyoung arrived at school with puffy eyes, from the crying. She was so incredibly stressed about what could have happened to Jimin.
She had tried to study for her History test, but she knew very well she was gonna fail it. Badly. She searched for Jisoo, but couldn't find her. She needed to sit next to her, she needed answers, or else she would get a bad grade. Her parents would kill her for that.
When she arrived at the classroom she finally saw Jisoo sitting inside already. She entered the classroom and sat next to her. "Goodmorning." "Morning Chae- have you been crying?!" "Not so loud Jisoo!"
"Sorry," Jisoo lowered her voice, "have you been crying, Chae?" Chaeyoung sighed. "My dad broke the mirror. I lost him. I lost Jimin."
Jisoo had a weird look on her face. "I know you think it's all nonsense but I lost him Jisoo and I have no idea how to get him back..." Chaeyoung whispered as tears filled her eyes.
"No, Chae, don't cry, you uhm, will find a solution, I'm sure!" Jisoo awkwardly tried to encourage her friend. Chaeyoung sighed. "Thanks, I guess."
Chaeyoung knew Jisoo was just trying to be a good friend, but it didn't help at all. She didn't believe. No one believed her. And only she could see Jimin. How could anyone ever help her out?
At lunch time Chaeyoung grabbed her phone from her bag and opened Google. "Please let the Wi-Fi actually work this time," she muttered to herself. Thank god, it worked.
She typed in things like how to fix a mirror, boy in mirror, person in mirror, but ofcourse only nonsense and unuseful information showed up on the page. Chaeyoung was helpless.
Ofcourse nothing would show up. The whole scene was unbelievable. From the day she spotted Jimins eyes in the mirror until today. She missed his eyes. And his lips. His cheeks. His hair. His laugh. His voice. She missed him a lot. Everything about him. She saw him, he felt so sorry. Her heart ached so much for him, he must have felt so scared.
Within two minutes she saw her other friends walking into the cantine. She closed her eyes for a few seconds and took a deep breath. "Hey Chae!" she heared Jennie say exitedly. "Hey!" Chaeyoung faked a happy smile. Jisoo bit her lip, as she knew what was going on inside her head right now.
"What's up?" Lisa asked, grabbing her bottle water from her blue Kanken backpack. "Nothing much, my History test didn't go too well though," Chaeyoung sighed. "Ah, that sucks! I had a Physics test that I probably failed badly too... I'm glad my parents aren't too strict about my grades, but I hope your grade will be allright. I know how your parents are," Lisa bit her lip as she opened her bottle and took a few sips.
"Ugh, I hate Physics!" Jennie sighed. "Then why are you following the classes?" Jisoo giggled. "Because it used to be so much easier and more interesting! I guess I just lost my interest in it, but at least I share my classes with Lisa, thank god."
Chaeyoung looked away as the other girls bickered a bit about some school subjects. She couldn't stop thinking about Jimin. She just wants him to be safe and to be able to come back.
She kept thinking about how mad her father was at her. She had never seen him so furious. She wished her sister Alice was there, she would have been able to calm her father down, but she was back in Australia for a while.
"First you're constantly in your room, talking while nobody's there, now you barely sleep. What's up with you? And why, god, why are you constantly focused on that damn mirror?!"
"I wish my parents had let me go to the school of performing arts," Lisa sighed. "Yeah, you're so great at dancing!" Lisa giggled. "Well, maybe it's better if I keep it a hobby. Now I'm actually really interested in policework," Lisa said while wiggling her eyebrows. "Ohh, officer Lisa!" Jennie winked as she made fingerguns with her hands.
"You'd become a model!" Jisoo said to Jennie. "Ah, shut up!" Jennie laughed. But Chaeyoung didn't laugh. Chaeyoung felt a tear rolling over her cheek. Chaeyoung stood up, swung her bag over her shoulder and walked away from the cantine, leaving her friends alone being very confused.
Chaeyoung ran outside, not caring about her other classes, not caring about people looking at her. She walked outside and unlocked the lock on her bike. She stepped on her bike and quickly rode away from school.
She didn't even know where she was going. She just wanted to find a quiet place. But where would she find a quiet place in a busy city like Seoul?
After a bit of cycling she found herself at her own house and shrugged her shoulders. She had no choice but just go inside. She knew her mom and dad wouldn't be home until dinner time, so she decided to try and find a way to heal the mirror.
Chaeyoung ran upstairs to her room and sat in front of her mirror and sighed. Her fingers touched the cracks in the mirror, accidentaly cutting her indexfinger open. Tears formed in her eyes, a few falling onto the mirror, which she was leaning on. Little did she know that that would be the spell to help Jimin...
