'Love you Adi. Sleep now'. He kissed her forehead and cuddled her in his arms and both of them drifted to sleep.

Adi's sleep broke at around 5am, she covered herself with the duvet and changed to her normal night wear. She decided to go down and check if Baa and Bakuben were up. But before going she checked on herself in the mirror. She had heard people saying that a married girl should never keep her hand and neck empty. She immediately wore 2 bangles in each of her hands and the mangalsutra and was about to go down, but before leaving, she gave a glance at Shlok and saw him sleeping like a kid with his mouth open. She smiled, picked up his cell and clicked a pic of his. She craved to caress him and give a peck on his cheek but thought it might disturb his sleep, so she went down.
Ketu and Baa were sitting and having tea. Bakuben was in the kitchen.
Baa: Arre beta tu itna jaldi kyu uth gai?
She came and touched their feets and said, 'Aankh khul gai Baa'.
Ketu: Jao jake wapas thoda so jao beta, it's just 5am.
Adi: No Papa, you and Hina Di are leaving today, I want to spend time with you all.
Ketu: They are also sleeping, and we will be leaving in the afternoon.
Adi: Papa, did you speak to Mummyji? How is she? When is she returning from Surat?
Ketu: Last night only I spoke to her. She is fine and will be back day after tomorrow.
Baa: Then why don't you stay back for one more day with us? Shlok n Adi will also like it.
Ketu: Baa, you never know, what if she returns tomorrow? I better be there. And I have missed office also since many days.
Baa: As you wish. Don't know when will we meet next?
Ketu: Everything will be fine soon n then we all will be together.
Bakuben got tea for Adi.
Adi: Bakuben, humne brush nahi kiya hai. Hum baad me le lenge. Aur haan aaj kya khana hai bata dijiye, aajka khana hum banayenge.
Baa: Koi jarurat nahi hai kitchen me jane ki. Do din baad to waha jake tujhe hi sab karna hai. Yaha apni Maa ka ghar samajhke bas aaram kar.
Adi: Itne din se hum aaram hi kar rahe hain Baa, please, aaj hume Papa ke liye unki pasand ka khana banana hai. Fir pata nahi kab mauka milega?
Ketu: Haan Baa, mujhe bhi Adi ke hath ka khana khana hai. Aaj usko banane de, kal aaram kar legi.
Adi was very happy. She went to her room, had her bath, wore bottle green silk saree with green bangles, red bindi, simple payal and toe ring and filled half her mang with sindoor. She tied her wet hair in a loose bun cz she had to work in kitchen.
She went to the kitchen and started preparing for aloo parathas with the help of Bakuben.
Baa was in her room and Ketu had gone to his to freshen up.
By 9.00 all except for Shlok n Ved were on breakfast table.
Baa asked Adi to wake up Shlok so that everyone can have breakfast together.
Ketu: Arre Baa, rehva do, he must be tired. Let him sleep. Will have lunch together.
Rest of them had their breakfast. They asked Adi aldso to join them, but she said she will have it with Shlok. They all were chatting till 10.30.
Hina: Adi, either you have your breakfast or wake up Shlok. It's 10.30, aren't you hungry?
Adi was about to say something when Ketu also said, 'Yes beta, now go and wake him up, I want to spend some time with him before I leave at 1'.
Adi said ok and went upstairs. Shlok had just got up and was wearing his Kurta when he heard Adi's footsteps. He fell on the bed and pretended to be sleeping.
Adi silently tiptoed the room and saw him still sleeping. His calm face and few traces of his hair on his forehead made him look adorable. He shifted her gaze to his bare chest inviting her to do some mischief.
She lovingly caressed his hair and called out, 'Shlok...' He didn't move, she again called out but he was still.
'Shlok, I love you'.
He instantly opened his eyes and said, 'Love you too Jaan', and pulled her in a hug.
'Aap jaag rahe the?'
'Hmmm'
'Get up fast and come down, Di and Papa are leaving at 1, spend some time with them'.
He tightened his grip on her and said, 'Chalo'.
'Aap chodenge tab na'.
'Abhi to zindagi bhar nahi chodunga'.
'Shlok, what if someone comes. Chodiye pls'.
'Sab samajhdar hain, koi nahi aayega'.
