And finally, they became one. He was panting, while Adi too was wheezing. They both lie in each other arms. Adi resting her head on his shoulders with tears of happiness in her eyes.

None of them spoke, they just lied and relished the moments in silence.
After a while, ‘Adi, you know what?’, asked Shlok.
There was no response. He again asked, ‘Adi, you listening?’
Again, no response. Since Adi was in his arms, Shlok couldn’t look at her. He very slowly removed his hand and placed her head on the pillow. As assumed by Shlok, Adi was fast asleep. She had got up much before Shlok in the morning to do the pooja and prepare tea and breakfast for them. Shlok kept looking at her serene face which looked content. She looked nothing less than a princess. Shlok was in awe of her beauty. And not only her outer, but inner beauty too. He thanked God umpteenth time for sending such a masterpiece of his for him.
He then left his gaze from her face and travelled through her body which was partially covered with the duvet. He felt like lifting the quilt and gaze the work of art created by God only and only for his eyes. But then she was sleeping so peacefully that he didn’t feel like disturbing her sleep.
He stretched himself, got up from the bed, wore his pants and went to the balcony. He then went to the other side of the balcony with the bath tub and started imagining him and Adi making wild love in the tub. He shrugged off the feelings aside and thought of making the most of this trip by taking Adi for a tour of the city today. He thought to himself, Adi has come to Goa for the first time and she is excited to roam around and do some water sports as well. Let me hire a bike and take her for an outing today. Rest of the things we can do in the night also, or at our home. It was already 10.30, he called up the enquiry counter and requested them to arrange for a bike on hire for the entire day for today and tomorrow. For the first day he planned to take her to Fort Aguada, Miramar Beach and Dona Paula which were in the same vicinity, but almost an hour n half ride from where they stayed. And for the next day they would do some water sports and shopping followed by an evening by the sea shore.
The intercom rang, and he ran to answer the call so as not to disturb Adi’s sleep. But by the time he went, Adi had already answered the call.
Since she was not aware about the bike booking, she handed over the phone to Shlok. She was about to get up and go to the washroom to change while covering herself with the quilt, Shlok held her by her arm and pulled her on bed with one hand and holding the phone in the other one, speaking to the receptionist. She informed him that within half an hour the bike would be here. After keeping the phone, he turned towards Adi and asked, ‘Kaha chali meri manchali?’
Adi laughed and said, ‘What was that?’
Coming close to her, he said, ‘Endearment for my darling wife’.
‘Let me go Shlok. I have to have bath’.
‘Arre you had your bath in the morning na, ab wapas kyu?’, he asked.
‘Just like that. Now can I please go?’ Adi asked.
‘Ok let’s go. I will also have bath with you, and now please, no stopping me’.
‘But Shlok…’
‘No ifs and buts Adi. Why you still so shy?’
Adi pleaded, ‘Please Shlok, only for today, tomorrow we will have it in the bathtub. I promise I will not stop you’.
Shlok gave in and said, ‘One last time I am listening to you, not after that’.
She smiled and gave a peck on his cheek and tried getting up, but Shlok was still holding her hand.
Adi: Hath to chodiye, hum jaye kaise?
Shlok: Chodne ke liye thode na pakda hai.
She tried to free herself, Shlok tighetened his grip and pulled her towards him and smooched her passionately.
He said in a husky tone, ‘Don’t feel like leaving you from my embrace even for a single second Adi. Aisa lagta hai sirf tumhe dekhta rahoon and pyar karta rahoon’.
Adi just said, ‘Yaha to theek hai, ghar jake kya karenge?’
Shlok: Waha ki yaad abhi se kyu dila di, do din sirf tum, main aur ye bed.
Adi: But I think you have booked a bike na for today?
Shlok suddenly remembered and said, ‘Oh yaar, I just forgot about it’. He checked his watch and said, ‘Kitna time pass karti ho yaar Adi tum. Go and get ready in 10mins time’.
Adi looked at him in surprise and asked, ‘Hum to kabse ja rahe the, aapne hi pakad ke rakha tha hume’.
