Hriday drove the car, with Ketu in the front seat with him, Baa and Hina sitting in the centre seat with Ved and Adi and Shlok sitting at the back seat.
Bakuben said she will go directly to Gandhidham as she had to prepare for the post wedding rituals at home for the newly weds and her husband will drop her to Gandhidham. So she did not accompany them to the temple.
Adi was ok with the wedding attire, but Baa and Hina asked her to change to something else, so she wore a pink coloured chaniya choli cz they were going for a temple visit.
Since they were sitting on the rear seat, all the others were facing the front. Shlok was helding her hand throughout the journey. In between he also slid his hand and held her bare waist. She couldn’t speak a word, else everyone would got to know. She pleaded him with her eyes not to do that.
She then asked Shlok to ask Ketu about Sumi.
Shlok: Pappa, mummy is all alone at home.
Ketu: No no, how can I leave her alone and come.
Hriday wanted me to attend the wedding anyhow, so we made a plan. I asked your Mama to call Sumi to Surat giving a valid reason. Day before he called up on Sumi’s number and said that your Mami was not keeping well, the kids were also not in town and that she was feeling very lonely. And here your Mom was also feeling lonely and wanted to talk her heart out to someone other than me, cz I was not in favour of what she said. So she readily agreed to go. But then she asked me also to accompany her. I refused saying if she was going to Surat, then I better go to office as I had lots of work pending.
As soon as she left for Surat in the afternoon, I left for Bhuj, and here I am with you.
Shlok: But when is she coming back?
Ketu: Don’t worry, I am constantly in touch with your Mama. He is aware I have come here. He said he will handle her and send her only once am back to Thane.
Shlok humourously said, ‘Baa, Pappa ne pan jabardast training aapeli che. Jhol karine pahochi gaya’.
Baa: Beta, where there is a will, there is a way. He wanted to come, he came. Then nothing could have stopped him. And he knew we are not wrong.

Ketu: Now I don’t know, cz Sumi is not at all ready to accept them. Now unless we speak to Guruji, nothing can be done. Cz he is the only one who can convince her that Adreja is perfect for our family and her Kundli does no matter at all.
Shlok: But when is he returning back any idea? Else we can go and see him wherever he is.
Ketu: I tried all possible things. But once a year he just elopes to an unknown place for 6months, he has just left a month back. One of his disciples said that he is in Hrishikesh, but not sure of it. So now we will have to wait for him to be back.
Hina: So 6months they will not get an entry in our house?
Ketu: See beta, if this Kundli thing would not have happened, I would have managed to pacify Sumi, but bcz of this fake Kundli thing, her mind is blocked and not ready to trust anyone. I will keep trying from my end, but can’t promise cz I already tried till now. And I cant even force her to accept them cz she has threatened me to leave the house if these two enter the house. They reached Mata no madh by 5, took blessings of Mataji and left from there. It was a long journey, so Ketu also drived for a while. Rest of them was so exhausted that they dosed off to sleep. Adi rested her head on Shlok’s shoulder and slept.
When they were about to reach Gandhidham, Shlok caressed her face with his hands, soflty patted her shoulder and said, ‘Adi, utho, we have almost reached’.
She slowly opened her eyes and gave a loving look at Shlok and smiled. Shlok was mesmerized with that look of hers.

By 8.30 they all reached Gandhidham. Bakuben had done all the preparations for their swagat. Baa asked Shlok and Adi to wait in the car as the rest of them went inside to welcome them in.
The Ghar ni Laxmi is a post wedding ritual wherein the bride is welcomed into the home as Goddess Laxmi who brings good fortune to her new home. Hina placed a vessel filled with rice at the entrance of the home and asked Adi to spill the rice from the vessel touching her right foot. This is a symbol of wealth, and the bride accepts her responsibilities towards her new home. This was followed by the Kanku Pagla vidhi. Kanku (red vermillion) is mixed with water and placed in a plate. Adi was asked to dip her foot in the plate and make footprints on the floor, signifying the arrival of Goddess Laxmi in the house.
Baa told Shlok to look at all these rituals carefully and then do the same at their Thane residence as well. Cz that is the place where they were going to stay as of now and start their married life. ‘I have informed Sakshi as well to follow these rituals there. But am telling you also’.
Shlok: You should be telling all this to Adi Baa, cz I would be entering Adi’s house, the roles will be reversed then. She is not entering my house, but I will be entering hers. She has to do my Swagat.
Everyone laughed, but Adi was serious. That time she did not say anything, but made a note of it.
After that Baa made them sit for Aeyki Beki. In this, a tray of water is mixed with milk and sindoor (vermilion). In this tray are placed several coins and a ring. It is believed that the person who finds the ring four out of seven times will rule the household.
3 times Adi found the ring and 3 times Shlok and the last time, they both held it together.
Ketu: This means you both will equally rule the house as well as each others hearts.
Shlok: Am sure, at your time, Mom must have won. No wonder she rules your heart and home till date.
Ketu: Sachu kidhu dikra, she still rules. Aur Mogambo se panga lega kaun? Tune liya badi himmat ka kaam kiya, hum to aaj bhi use darte hain.
Nobody could control their laughter.
The day concluded with prayers to God requesting happiness and love for the newly wedded couple.
Baa took them to the prayer room and asked them to pray for their long and successful married life.
