8months later…..
Shlok was screaming on top of his voice from the bathroom…
‘Adiiii mera towel kaha hai?’
Adi, who was busy preparing Shlok’s breakfast ran to give him the towel.
She knocked on the door, Shlok opened the door and said give. Adi extended her hand to give when Shlok pulled her inside with him in the shower.
Adi got wild, ‘Kya kar diya Shlok aapne. I already had my bath. This is not done, pura bhiga diya hume. Hum aapke liye breakfast bana rahe the. Fir aapko office ke liye late….
Before she could speak further, he kissed her senseless under the shower pinning both her hands against the wall. Adi too went with the flow cz after a very long time they had got intimate. Past few months were very tedious for Adi taking care of Sumi. By the time she used to come home from Sumi’s place, they both were so exhausted that none had the time and stamina left for anything. They didn’t even speak much cz Shlok too had got through the job in the IT firm that he desired for and used to come home completely drained out.
They kissed each other for a long time. He undressed her and caressed her body. He rubbed his face against her bossom, sucking them eagerly. He spoke in a hoarse tone, ‘I missed this so much Adi, I love u so much. You make me need all of you so badly’. He carried her to the bed and kissed every inch of her beautiful body. Their bodies mated, together, warm, touching, moving slowly, kissing and whispering things. He made love to her like never before, wild, full of passion and continued until they both were drained.
Shlok almost dozed off to sleep. Adi looked at his calm face, ruffled his hair and tried waking him up, ‘Shlok, office nahi jana hai aapko?’
He pulled her in his arms and said, ‘So jao Adi aur sone do’.
‘Have you taken an off Shlok?’
‘Hmmmm’.
She excitedly asked, ‘What!! Really? Then let’s take Baa, Mummyji and Bakuben out’.
Shlok never replied. She too didn’t bother him again cz she knew he was exhausted working for almost 10-12 hours a day and travelling time of 2-2.5hours. He used to leave at 7.30 and be back only 9.30-10 in the night. He had been slogging day in and day out so that he can prove himself to his parents. In just 6months time, he had already bagged an award of best employee and had now gained a permanent position in the organisation.
She freed herself from his embrace and thought of cooking his favourite food. Evening she thought of inviting her in-laws for dinner. She had lots to do. She had just entered the kitchen when Shlok’s phone rang. Adi ran to take the call cz she didn’t want to disturb his sleep. She saw the name and frowned, ‘Roshni calling’. Roshni was his delivery manager. She answered the call, ‘Hello’.
‘Hi, this is Roshni here, can I talk to Shlok please’.
Adi curtly replied, ‘Is it urgent? He is sleeping right now. I shall ask him to get back to you once he is up’.
Roshni, ‘Sorry, but its really urgent, else I wouldn’t have troubled him’.
Adi asked her to hold and went to wake up Shlok, she saw him sleeping peacefully with his mouth open and her heart went out to him. She just couldn’t wake him up. She replied, ‘Sorry but he is not getting up, I will ask him to call you’. And she disconnected.
Shlok had many a times spoken to Adi about Roshni. He always praised her saying she was very devoted and hard working. He also mentioned that she always favoured Shlok cz he too was hard working and sincere. Though Adi trusted Shlok, but then you never know with girls around. She was kind of jealous for the 1st time and felt insecured.
She cooked his favorite food and waited for him to wake up. At around 11 Shlok came out of the room rubbing his eyes. Adi was sitting on the baithak reading a book. Shlok came and sat besides her and just lied down keeping his head on her lap.
‘Adi, am hungry’.
‘What you want to eat? Breakfast or lunch?’
‘Lunch?? Tumne khana banaya?’
‘Haan. Aap gharpe hain to humne aapki pasand ka khana banaya hai’.
‘Arre yaar, I wanted to take you out for a long ride. That’s the reason I got up at my usual time and wanted to surprise you. But tumne mujhe thaka diya aur main so gaya’.
‘Humne aapko thakaya??’
‘Aur nahi to kya’. He again pulled her in his embrace and was about to kiss her when his phone buzzed.
It was Roshni again.
Shlok: Yes Rosh.
He spoke to her for almost 15mins and once he finished he furiously looked at Adi and asked, ‘Did Rosh call up before also?’
Adi ignored his gaze and replied, ‘hmmm, but u was sleeping’.
‘So???’
‘So what? I didn’t feel like waking you up. After a long time, I had seen u sleeping so peacefully Shlok. Why she has to call up on….’
He yelled, ‘Stop it Adi, I do rest on weekends. When she said it was urgent, why didn’t you wake me up? I am bloody slogging my ass out to here to prove myself and here my wife is bothered about my peaceful sleep. Dare you answer my phone henceforth’.
Saying so he just banged his hand on the sidetable.
