Adi tried snatching his phone from his hand and said this is not done Shlok.
Shlok: Why not jaaneman, at least ye dekhke to apna mann behla lu filhal ke liye. Main hi janta hoon main apne Dil pe kaise kaboo kar raha hoon aur 5 din aur kaise karunga.
Adi was annoyed on him, and she started looking out of the window.

They landed Mumbai airport in the evening around 5.30. Shlok booked a cab as they had a lot of luggage with them. Adi’s heart was pounding faster as she feared bumping in to Sumi in the lobby itself. Her fear was quite evident from her gestures as she held Shlok’s hand firmly.
Shlok tried pacifying her by asking her to relax. Shlok called up Ketu to inform him that they were reaching home and to make sure Sumi doesn’t come down for any reason, as he too didn’t want to bump into her casually. But Ketu didn’t answer his call and replied that he was at home and Sumi was sitting besides him. Shlok then messaged him and he replied him not to worry, he will take care of the same.
When they reached the lobby, Sakshi, Milind and Krisha were already waiting to welcome them at Adreja’s place. Sakshi had her house keys so she had got it cleaned by the maid during day time itself. The bedsheets and curtains were also changed. She opened the door and welcomed them both by applying tika on their foreheads and keeping the vessel filled with rice for her to spill it while stepping inside the house.
Shlok jokingly said, ‘Arre Di, can’t we reverse this ritual? I think I should be spilling it instead of Adi. Mere ghar aai to wo karegi and abhi main uske ghar aaya to main karunga. Give me also a chance yaar’.
Everyone laughed but Adi didn’t like it. Though she didn’t say anything, but her expressions said it all for Shlok and others to understand that she didn’t like that joke.
Sakshi: Ye rasam ghar ki Laxmi ke liye hoti hai Shlok. Kisika bhi ghar ho, Laxmi to Adi hi hai na.
Shlok: Haan bhai, Adi Laxmi aur main Laxmi pati.
They all entered in, kept their luggage and Sakshi invited them for dinner at their place.
Adi: No Bhabhi, please don’t bother yourself. I will cook something.
Milind: When will you stop being so formal beta. If you want to have it here, then I will get it here. Today you look exhausted with the travel, aaj ka din jhel le apni Bhabhi ke hath ka khana, kal se to tujhe hi banana hai na.
Shlok: Aisi baat nahi hai bhaiya, meri Di bhi acha khana banati hain.
Sakshi: Thank you Shlok, at least tumko meri kadar hai, yaha to ghar ki murgi dal barabar hai.
Milind: Adi beta, kal se mera khana bhi yahi pe banana, tumhari Bhabhi ko gussa aa gaya hai, ab mujhe khana milne se raha.
Adi smiled and said, ‘Anytime bhaiya. But hamari Bhabhi itni buri bhi nahi hai’.
Sakshi: Ab meri tareef ho gai ho to ghar chalein? Let them freshen up and come.
Milind: Adi, you coming na? Ki yaha leke aaun?
Adi: No bhaiya, we will come.
After they left, Adi looked at Shlok and he understood what was coming. And before Adi could say anything, he held his ears and said, ‘Sorry meri Maa, ab se jo tera hai wo mera aur jo mera hai wo bhi mera’.
Adi couldt stop laughing and she hugged him and asked, ‘How you know what I was to say?’
Shlok: 3 din ho gaye apni shaadi ko aur main apni biwi ko itna bhi nahi pehechanunga? Come let’s have bath.
Adi gave him an astonished look.
Shlok: Arre look kya de rahi ho, chalo nahane.
Adi: Shlok, you ok na?
Shlok: Very much ok. Aaj se jab hum sath me rahenge, to har cheez sath me karenge. Sath nahayenge, sath khayenge, sath soyenge, aur har kaam sath me karenge, sab sath sath. Kaisa laga mera idea.
Adi: Shlok, you better talk something sensible.
Shlok: Ohh you mean, am senseless.
Adi: Aah, no. I didn’t mean that.
Shlok: Then what did you mean? And what is the harm in doing everything together?
Adi: Shlok, our timings will never match. I am used to getting up early, you get up late and do your things aaramse. By the time you get up, I will be done with half my things. Sona and khana theek hai, baki not possible.
Shlok: I will make it possible by getting up with you.
Adi giggled and said, ‘I get up at 5, aap uthenge utna jaldi?’
Shlok: Why not? Uthake to dekho.
Adi: And what if you don’t get up?
Shlok: I will, and nahi utha to pani dalke uthana mujhe.
Adi: Let’s see. Right now, please don’t waste time in talking, go have your bath. Bhaiya-bhabhi must be waiting for us. And morning jaldi uthna bhi hai.
Shlok: Ab kal kya hai jo jaldi uthna hai bhai? Kal to Sunday hai.
Adi: Ohh ya, I forgot. But still, can’t make them wait like this.
