Adi: Happening as in?
Shlok: As in, something hot and happening. Punjabi dress mandir ke liye theek hai. Not for a date.
Adi smiled and said, ‘As you wish’. And they left. Cz she had few more surprises at home for him.

They reached home in 10 mins time and Adi went inside to change, Shlok followed her.
‘Aap andar kya kar rahe hain?’
‘Kya kar raha hoon matlab? Have come to see what are you wearing’.
‘You will get to know once I am out, now please go’.
He went and sat out cz he knew if he stayed inside seeing her change, he would change his mind and spend half the day on bed.
He sat out and recalled the conversation between him and Adi about visiting his parents for dinner. He felt bad for acting rudely with Sumi. After all she had taken care of him and his smallest needs for these many years. And today when he and Adi discussed about the number plate of his bike and Adi said that for his safety, she did believe in these things, made him think from Sumi’s point of view. Which Mom would not think about her kids well being. Her only mistake was that she ill-treated Adi without knowing the entire truth. He gave a thought over going for dinner at his Mom’s place, but before that he would check with Adi if she had planned anything for the evening. Since she had planned so many surprises, he was sure she must have planned something for the evening too.
Here Sumi was very upset with Shlok’s behavior. Ketu was by her side, pacifying her.
Sumi amidst tears said, ‘This is what I get in return for loving him so dearly. I didn’t want to see that girl’s face, but for him, I decided to go to the temple and meet him and all he cares for is ADI. Su jadu kari nakhyu che ene Shlok par’.
Ketu: Jadu nai Sumi. Love. She loves him like crazy and just to see him happy, she is ready to take your insults also. You just think once Sumi, she knows you will not spare her and abuse her, still she keeps trying her best to convince you for Shlok’s happiness. For her, that is the only thing that matters.
Sumi: So is with me. For me too, it’s his happiness that matters.
Ketu: Then why are you not accepting her Sumi? Cz his happiness lies only and only in ADI. Her love is pulling him more towards her and your hatred for her is pushing Shlok away from you.
Sumi: I don’t know, I don’t think I will ever be able accept her.
Ketu: Ok fine, but at least for today you should have invited her as well with him. You think on his birthday, he will leave his wife alone and come to us for dinner. That girl has planned so many surprises for him, to see him happy. You can do at least this much for him. You don’t talk to her if you don’t want to, but I feel you should be inviting her too. And then see Shlok’s reaction. I bet Sumi, this would be the bestest gift of all for him.
Sumi didn’t reply but was in deep thoughts.
Ketu: I will not force you, but just think over it. You have time till evening. I have to go to office for some time. Will be back by 7. Just think and take a call.
Saying so, he left for office. He somewhere felt he had succeeded in convincing Sumi to call Adi too for dinner. But Sumi hai, uska koi bharosa nahi.
Shlok’s thoughts were interrupted by Adi who handed over her phone to him.
Shlok: Whose it?
Adi: Check by yourself.
Shlok was surprised to see Baa on screen. It was a video call by Baa to wish him. He knew Baa did not have a smart phone, then how come she called.
Baa: Happy Birthday beta. Kem che? (how r u)
Shlok: Thank you Baa. Hu majama, tu kem che? (m good, what about u)
Baa: Tu majama to hu pan majama. (if u good then me too good)
Shlok: Tari pase smart phone kya thi aavyo? (when did u get a smart phone)
Baa: Tari bairi ne puch. Je tari pachad pagal che. (ask your wife who is mad after you)
Shlok looked at Adi, she said you finish talking will discuss later.
After that Bakuben also wished him. They both then spoke to Adi as well for some time and disconnected the call after 10mins.
