Adi couldn’t control and rolled of laughter, ‘Hume laga hamare pati bade strong hain, but aap to humse bhi jyada darpok nikle Shlok’.
Shlok was happy seeing her laugh.

Khwab banke tere khayalon mein aana chahta hoon,

They were about to leave when Shlok got a call fom Ketu.
Shlok: Haan Pappa.
Ketu: Adi kem che beta? (How is Adi)
Shlok: Not that good Pappa. Doc suggested blood test, so we are here at Manpada for the same. Now we are leaving. Report sanjhe madse. (will get reports in the evening)
Ketu: Where at Manpda? Wait am coming.
Shlok and Adi waited for Ketu.
Adi took his blessings and Ketu apologized to her for Sumi’s behavior.
Though Adi was not aware the exact reason, she just said, ‘It’s ok Papa. How come you are here?’
I just wanted to spend some time with you people. I told Sumi that am going to office and went to your place but got to know you both were out.
Shlok: Wow, let’s go home and have fun then.
Ketu asked them to sit in the car when Shlok refused and said, ‘Can we take an auto please. You come by car’.
Adi changed the topic and said, ‘Pappa, what if Mummyji sees the car? She will come to know that you have not gone to office. It’s better you too come by auto with us’.
Ketu said, ‘Oh haan, wo to maine socha hi nahi’.
He asked the driver to park the car at a safe place and evening get it home. Before that he removed bag full of fruits that he had bought for Adi.
They left for home by auto.
Once at home, they made Adi rest and headed to the kitchen to cook. Ketu was well trained in cooking by Baa. Though he had not cooked since ages, but he not forgotten it. He wore an apron and went out to check with Adi what would she like to eat?
Adi: Papa please, you are embarrassing me. I can do the cooking, Shlok will help me out.
Ketu: Arre beta thodi practice ho jayegi meri. You never know Mogambo kab gussa ho jaye aur mujhe khud pakake khana pade. Tumse thoda seekh leta hoon, aage kaam aayega mujhe.
Adi was helpless as she knew these two will not listen to her. She decided to rest and help when needed.
‘Aapko jo theek lage wo bana dijiye Papa’.
He first asked Shlok to peel sweet lime and Ketu blended juice for her. She was feeling awkward sitting idle doing nothing and Shlok n Ketu working. But then she was helpless.
Ketu asked Shlok to cut potato and cauliflower.
Shlok: Badhu hu karis to tame su karso papa? (If everything I will do, then what will you do Pappa)
Ketu: Apni biwi ke liye itna bhi nahi kar sakta tu? Chal jitna bola utna kar.
Shlok got busy cutting the vegetables.
Dal, rice and veggie was not that difficult, the main task was to roll round rotis.
Shlok: Pappa, let me try first.
Ketu: Tu rehva de. I will do it.
‘Please pappa, ek try. Aap mat khana, meri Adi jarur khayegi mere hat ki bani roti’.
He somehow rolled a shapeless roti and was proud of it. He excitedly went out and showed it to Adi.
She controlled her laughter seeing his excitement and said, ‘Wow, so nice’.
When he went inside, he saw Ketu had already rolled a big roti and was cutting it with a katori in round shape.
Ketu: Joyu, kai seekha mara thi. (Learn something from me)
Shlok: Ama su che, I can also do this.
But how much ever he tried, he couldn’t roll a big one and gave up.
Finally, after 1.5hour the food was ready. They set the table and asked Adi to join. Adi was overwhelmed seeing the table laid by her hubby and father in law. Shlok beautifully decorated cucumber and tomato salad into a smiley.
They didn’t even let her serve the plates. Shlok served her the rotis that he had rolled, and Ketu served the remaining things. She had tears of happiness in her eyes seeing their love and care. She felt that she was the luckiest girl on this earth to have found these 2 gentlemen.
