"Sign here and here and make sure that everything you brought in is in the bag."

"All here."

"Great, you a free to go."As soon as the sentence is finished, I haul ass out to meet Omega. A nigga is finally out and I don't plan on going back in.

Thanks to Mr.Nelson and the evidence they had on Alonzo, it was easier for the jury to find me not guilty. While they were releasing me, they were locking his ass right along with Amir up. The dumbass got caught with the gun flaunting the shit like someone was really intimidated by it. Dummy.

"How does it feel to be out, nigga?"

"Much better than being in. Shit don't feel real."I throw my bag in the back and get in putting my seatbelt on and slap hands with him.

"You haven't told Sai have you?"

"Nah, you?"

"Nah, saving that for you."It's been a few days since I last spoke to Sai and O made sure to let Lynx know to not tell her anything about my release. As much as she hates surprises, I have to do this to her.

My first stop was going to see my parents and make sure they know that I'm ok and then see my baby. Then I was going to make a trip down to surprise Issaiah.

"Do you have any plans?"

"Nah, my schedule's empty."

"Feel like taking a road trip?"

"Yeah, I can go with you."

"Thanks."

"I got you."

"Appreciate it."

Before long, we were pulling up to my parents house and they were running out to greet me.

"My baby, oh my gosh! Thank you God for returning my son to me."

"Hey Ma."

"Let this be your last time son."He hugs me rocking us back and forth while he pats my back.

"Trust me pop, it is."

"For, you're home!"

"I am!"Lyn jumps into my arms hugging me as tight as she can. There's no way that I'm going back. My time away was too long and I can't keep on missing out on watching my sister grow up. I kiss her cheek and let her down.

"You haven't eaten have you?"

"You cooked aunty?"

"Of course, baby. Come on in and fix yourselves a plate."

"Yes ma'am."We walk in and my stomach growls on cue smelling the home cooked meal. Prison food was no joke and it had me feeling grateful to have a mother that can throw down in the kitchen. I run to the kitchen to stack my plate high with food. Ma cooked chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni, and cornbread.

"Ma, this food is delicious."

"Thank you baby, you boys want some lemonade?"

"Yes ma'am."She pours us each a cup before taking a seat at the table with us.

"Thanks ma."

"No problem baby."

"So have they said anything about your other charges?"

"Yeah, I'm supposed to get it expunged."

"Is your girlfriend's mother going to get that handled or is someone else going to deal with that too?"
