Hey y'all!

Sorry for the long hiatus, it wasn't on purpose. I know majority of y'all may no longer be thinking about the book, but here it is. I don't know how long it's going to take me to finish but I'd at least like to finish it. Thank you arlanacamille for reaching out and giving me the suggestion to finish it. To all that has supported this book, thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment. I love y'all gang!

|Issaiah Soul Love|

I slide into the booth and stare at him. I take in his entire face and let it burn into my memory. His dark skin and thick eyebrows, with his authentic black features, I was definitely a product of him. My eyes shift to his movements seeing how he'd touch his hair out of nervousness. Just like me. This felt so unrealistic. I'm here with him and it doesn't feel right. Nervousness bubble up in the pit of my stomach and my hands start to sweat. My heart pounds like heavy drums. I shift my eyes everywhere but him with my lips shut tight not being able to speak. Foreign's words still echoing in the back of my head.

"I'm glad you were able to make it Issaiah." He speaks to me. I purse my lips together and nod my head barely mumbling an audible "mhmm". I still avoid eye contact. What's wrong with me today? My mouth is still shut cautious about saying anything. "Is everything okay, you've barely said a word since we sat down." I nod my head. I pull out my phone to text Omega to come get me shortly. This doesn't seem to be working out. "We can do this another time when you're more comfortable." He suggests.

"I'll be right back." I stand up still avoiding eye contact and scurry to the restroom.

"Come on Sai get it together." I encourage myself while looking in the mirror." You were so eager to meet him and now he's here and you're not saying anything." I close my eyes and say a prayer hoping to regain my social side. I stay in the bathroom for five more minutes before I return to the table seeing Omega there staring at my father with the same glare Foreign would.

"You understand me?" Omega asks as I walk up to the table catching the end of his speech.

"Loud and clear my boy." My dad smiles showing off a scattered row of gold in his mouth.

"What were you two talking about?" I ask as I fix myself in the booth and lean lightly against Omega.

"Nothing important, just waiting on you to come back." My dad tells turning his smile to me. "Are you feeling better?"

"Yeah just jitters I guess. I'm so nervous." I admit ready to hold my head down again.

"That's perfectly fine, this is our first time meeting in person and actually talking. I'm feeling the same way to be honest with you." I smile feeling better that I'm not the only one.
