I walk inside the house taking in the feeling of being a homeowner. Shit feels amazing just knowing that we have our own place to raise our son in. We have so much more freedom to do what we want here. I can't wait to see Sai's face when she see's our new home.
"Nice place you have here For, Sai is going to love it. Congratulations." Zanah tells me taking a look around the room.
"Thank you, I can't wait to see her face when she see's the house."
"When are you going to start decorating the place?"
"I have some furniture coming this week. Sai thinks it's coming to the apartment but I have it being shipped here."
"What about your lease?"
"Already let them know that we won't be renewing it and I packed it up and put it in storage." Shit is getting serious, this is no longer wishful thinking.
"I'm proud of you guys. You're building a legacy for your kids. I can't wait to see how it looks furnished."
"You and Chis are going to help me move right?"
"Yeah we got you, Benji and Saga are helping out as well."
"I'm glad we squashed the beef between us." It's about time because we'll be dealing with each other forever. The least we can do for Sai is get along.
"The only reason they acted like that was because of their daddy."

"She was a good influence on me and I was a bad influence on her."
"No you were not. If anything you helped her grow into the person she is today." She tells me honestly. We've both left an impression on each other and the growth we've made is amazing.

"No problem, I'm going to go ahead and head over to see her and my nephew."
"Yeah, she'll be excited to see you."
"Text me when things come in and Chris and I will come over."

I pull out my phone and text the boys letting them know that I got the house. Shit is getting real and I couldn't be more ecstatic. It's on as soon as the furniture comes in.
Sai calls my phone trying to see where I'm at. I take a step outside so she doesn't hear my voice echoing in the house. If this girl only knew that I set us up for a good minute.
