Chapter 20

Me and Jacob get into his car.

"So where are we going?" Jacob quickly looks at me.

"It's a surprise." I take my phone out of my purse when I feel it vibrate.

Dallas: how's it going?

Mickey: where are you guys going?

Me: good and I don't know, he said it was a surprise.

Dallas: text us when you get there and tell us where you are.

Me: k.

Me and Jacob pull into the parking lot of the most expensive restaurant in our small town.

"Jacob you don't have to take me here."

"Yes I do, I like you so I want to make a good impression." I feel my heart beat faster. Jacob gets out and walks around to my door and opens it for me.

"Thank you." I link my arm in his and we walk into the restaurant. We walk to the hostess.

"Reservation for Jacob."

"Oh yes, mr. And mrs. Johnson." At the sound of that I blush and Jacob squeezes my hand. The hostess shows us our table and we sit down.

"Sorry, I didn't know they were going to say that." He says.

"No it's okay, I didn't mind it." I say and Jacobs face brightens up. I feel my phone vibrates and I look at it.

Mickey: Where r u?!

Me: that expensive restaurant.

Dallas: really?!?!

Me: I know right!

Mickey: he must really like you.

I put my phone down when the waiter comes.

"What can I get you guys to drink?"

"Can I get a coke?" Asks Jacob.

"can I get a water?" The waiter nods and go gets our drinks.

"So what do you like to do?" Jacob ask.

"I like fishing, hunting, snow machining, four wheeling. Stuff like that."

"Cool, me too."

"Cool." It's nice to have the same interests. The waiter brings us our drinks and takes our order. Our waiter brings us our food and we eat then head out to the movie. When the movie is over Jacob brings me home. We pull into my houses drive way and Jacob turns towards me.

"Listen I know this only our first date but I was wondering if you'd like to be my... Girlfriend?"

"Yes, I'd love to be your girlfriend."

"Okay, we'll see you tomorrow."

"Bye Jacob."

"Bye carter." I get out of Jacobs car and walk into my house. I put my against the door just like they do in the movies. My movie moment is cut short when Mickey and Dallas come running down the stairs.

"How did it go?"

"Did he kiss you?"

"Are you guys boyfriend and girlfriend?"

"When is your next date?" Mickey and Dallas ask me.

"Good, no, yes, I don't know." I say and Mickey and Dallas look confused.

"What?" They ask at the same time.

"I had a good time, no, he didn't kiss me, I don't know when our next date it, and yes we are boyfriend and girlfriend." Their eyes go wide and they start jumping up and down.

"He's your boyfriend!" I join them and chant.

"He's my boyfriend!" I hear someone come down the stairs, no make that 2. I see mason and Jensen.

"What's going on?"

"Carter has a boyfriend!" Sings Dallas and mason and Jensen congrats me.

"Thanks, but I'm tired and I don't want to watch another movie. so I'm going to bed." I go get changed into some pjs and lay in bed texting Jacob for the rest of the night.
