Chapter 47

I drive to my house and run into my room. I put on a pair of baggy sweats and a t-shirt. I go downstairs and grab the cookie and cream ice cream and go up to my room. I plug my earphones into my phone and listen to sad song. I pause the music when I hear a knock on the door. I open it and there stands Brayden.
"What are you doing here?" I ask.
"I just wanted to make sure your okay."
"Thanks, do you want to come in?"
"Sure." We walk into the living room and sit down.
"So your skipping on your first day?"
"I don't care." We sit there silently.
"Hunter really likes you."
"Ya well I bet I just blew it anyways."
"Do you really still like this Jacob kid?" I think about it and I still do.
"Ya, but I also like hinter- but I'm not sure because me and Jacob had actually only gotten in one fight and I still like him. I just don't want to hurt Hunter, I'm really confused right now."
"How about you go on a date with both of them and then who ever you have a better time with, you should continue to see them." I think about the idea.
"But I will still end up hurting someone."

Brayden leaves a couple hours later. I climb the stars to my room and change. I hop in bed and turn on some music to help me sleep.
I wake up and have a shower. I put on jeans and a black t-shirt. I finish getting ready and leave for school. When I get there I go stright to my locker but on the way there I stop when I see Hunter making out with another girl. I'm in shock and don't move. I see them break apart and Hunter spots me.
"Oh hey Carter." He says in a nasty voice and spitting my name like it left a bed taste in his mouth. I continue to walk to my locker. Mickey and dallas are waiting there for me.
"Hey." I say and they say hey back.
"Did you see Hunter?" I ask them and they nod.
"I'm so confused right now guys." I say.
"Well here, let me help you; you like Hunter, you love Jacob." Dallas says and I see her point.
"Thanks dallas." The bell ring and I head to class. I walk in and sit next to Jacob.
"Hey." I say.
"Hey." He says back.
"Listen Jacob, I'm sorry for doing that to you, I was just really confused and hurt because I loved you."
"I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have said that you where spending too much time with your friends because you weren't. I mean you should spend time with your friends because they will always be there for you."
"Thanks for understanding Jacob."
"So I was wondering if your doing anything tonight?"
"No I'm free."
"Oh, would you like to go to the movies with me?" He asks and I know exactly what to say.
"I'd love to."
