The Three Of Us

Chapter 30

I head to my house to pack for a 2 week long vaca to New York. It's still winter so I pack a lot of warm clothes. I pack some jeans and a couple of pairs of tights. Tomorrow we are leaving for New York and I'm excited, but I'm also a little sad about me and Jacob breaking up. I thought he was the one. I finish packing but I still have a lot of more work to do before I can finally get to sleep. I clean up the house so it's not messy when I get back. My mom won't be back before me. When I think I'm finally done all my work, I head up to my room and change into some pajamas and climb into my bed. I fall asleep fast.

I wake up at 5:30 and have a shower leaving my hair to dry. I though on a pair of jeans and a old, baggy sweater. I do a double then triple check of everything then I start bringing it out to my car. I lock the door and hop I'm my car to drive to Dallas house. I get there and she puts her stuff in my car before hopping in. It takes her about 5 minutes to pack her things because has so much. When she gets in.

"How much stuff did you bring?" I see her smile evilly.

"Just a couple of suitcases." I laugh at her lying abilities.

"You know we are going on a shopping spree?" I say and we break out in laughter. She nods her head. We go and pick up Mickey. She hops in the car after putiing her stuff in the trunk.

"Dallas, you do know that we are going on a shopping spree, right?" Again we laugh.

"What?" Mickey asks a little lost from us laughing so much.

"Thats what I said." I say. We drive to the airport watching the planes take off, thinking that pretty soon, we will be on one of those planes flying to new york leaving all our troubles behind.
