MICKEY'S POV
Tonight I'm going on a date with Mason. I have missed him so much. I curl my hair and put on a new dress I bought in New York. I put on my makeup and wait for Mason. It's been 20 minutes since he was supposed to pick me up. I try calling his cell phone but he doesn't pick up. All of the sudden my phone starts ringing. I don't even look at who is calling I just answer.
"Hello?"
"Hello, is this mickey, Mason Petters girlfriend?" A women asks.
"Yes."
"Your boyfriend is in the hospital, he has been in a horrible car accident." I drop my phone. I run and put on a pair of tights and a sweater and grab the keys to my car. I grab my phone from the ground and run out the door. I drive to the hospital 10 over the speed limit. I get there and run in.
"What room is Mason Patters in?" I ask.
"Are you family?"
"I'm his girlfriend."
"Room 121." I run to room 121. The door is closed and I look though the window. A nurse comes up to me.
"You can go in, he is awake." I open the door and go sit next to him. He has many bruises and cuts, I start to feel my eyes water.
"Hey." He turns his head.
"Mickey." He grabs my hand.
"What happened."
"I was going to pick you up but then a drunk driver hit me head on."
"They say I'm lucky to be alive." I feel more tears run down my cheeks.
"I thought you had stood me up but then I got a phone call from the hospital and I didn't know what to do, I though I might have lost you."
