"Who did this to you?" Dallas asks. I'm hesitant but I know I have to tell some one.

"Caleb, first at school then the worst, after the hockey game." She sits there in shock.

"Really?" I nod my head.

"But you can't tell anyone, he will only hurt me more." Me and Dallas's conversation is cut short when the doctor enters the room.

"Hello Carter."

"Hello." The doctor puts some x-rays up.

"Okay, we have a lot to cover so let's get started. You have broken ribs, a sprained ankle, a small head injury and your jaw is injured." The doctor says and when it has finally set in my head I don't believe it. How is this going to affect my life?

"We are going to put you ankle in a cast and we also suggest a wheelchair." The doctor leaves and a nurse comes in to explain everything. They put my left ankle in a cast and get me a wheel chair. I have to come back to the hospital in 1 week. Dallas said my mom had to leave because she has a business trip in America for 3 weeks. Once the nurse leaves Jacob enters the room.

"Who did this to you?" He asks almost crying.

"Caleb, he beat her twice." Dallas blurts and by the look on her face she regrets it, but I don't. I wanted Jacob to know but I couldn't tell him because Caleb will only hurt me more.

"What?" He asks sympathetic at first then I see anger.

"He did this to you?"

"Please don't do anything, he will only hurt me more." I say and I'm in tears at the thought of Caleb hurting me again. A nurse comes in to the room.

"Carter, you are free to go." She says. Instead of carrying on the conversation we had going, I just hop into the wheelchair and Jacob pushes me out of my room with Dallas behind us with my stuff. After about 5 minutes I finally get into the front of Jacobs car, Dallas gets in the back and Jacob get in the drivers seat. As soon as he hops in he grabs my hand and we knot out fingers together. I smile at him and he smiles back. We drive and drop Dallas off before heading to my house. I open the door. We leave my wheelchair at the bottom of the stairs and Jacob carries me up the stairs then sets me on my bed to go grab the wheelchair. I change from my ripped, bloody jeans and t-shirt to a pair of over-sized sweats and a tank-top.

"Are you going to do something about him?" Caleb asks me. I shake my head.

"No, no matter what I do he will always hurt me." Jacob gets up and walks over to me and wraps his arms around me.

"For as long as I live, I promise, no one will be able to hurt you." I look into Jacobs eyes. He cups my face and leans down and kisses me. Sparks fly throughout my body and my tummy does backflips. This is our first kiss which makes it even more special. We break apart.

"That was-" Jacob starts but I cut in.

"Amazing." We both smile.

"That was our first kiss." I say.

"That makes it even more special." We both laugh. I hear a knock at the door and I hop on Jacobs back to go answer it. I open the door to Mickey, Dallas, Jensen and mason. They are holding pizza. I let them in.

"Pizza party night." Mason yells and Jacob puts me on the couch to grab my wheelchair. He comes back down with it and I sit in it.

"So that jerk Caleb did this to you?" Mason says and I shoot a look at Dallas.

"They all know." She says.

"Yes." I say returning my attention to mason.

"Well, he won't be on the team for much longer." He says.

"No please don't, he will hurt me again if you do. Let me go to the cops first." I say and mason nods his head. We Finnish all 3 boxes of pizza then move on to play truth or dare.

"Okay, carter, truth or dare." Jensen asks me.

"Umm, truth."

"Have you and Jacob finally had your first kiss yet?" He asks and me and Jacob blush.

"Yes." I say and Mickey and Dallas jump up and hug me.

"Finally." Mason says bro hugging Jacob. I sit back and look at the people around me, as long as I have them, nothing else matters.
