Chapter 5: New Friends

SAMANTHA'S P.O.V

I woke up with the sun shining in my face. I remembered what happended yesterday, and I smiled. I looked at the time, it was 7:30am. Great, i've got an extra thirty minutes to sleep in.

I woke up and it was 8:30! Oh no, I'm going to miss the bus! I got out of bed and did the usual morning routine as fast as I could. I was ready in 15 minutes so I had 5 minutes to get to the bus stop. I ran as fast as my legs could take me as, to see Ethan standing at the bus stop.

Ethan: "What took you so long?" He said with a cheeky tone.

Me: "Oh nothing, I just decided to sleep in this morning." I lied.

We both giggled.

The bus arrived in what felt like a few seconds, and I saw Sophia and Amelia walk up to me.

Amelia: "Hi Samantha, um Sophia promised she'd sit on the bus with me today, sorry." She lied.

She gave me a wink and I raised one of my eyebrows.

Sophia: "I guess you'll have to find someone else to sit next to!"

She said 'someone else' very loudly, almost shouting to Ethan.

Not long later, Ethan spoke up.

Ethan: "You can sit with me, you know, only if you want."

He blushed, which I thought was extremely cute!

Me: "Yeah sure."

He gave me a awkward smile and we headed onto the bus.

He let me sit at the window by saying "ladies first" in a low tone.

Me: "Oh that's good, you finally learnt that phrase!" I said thinking of last nights conversation on messages.

Ethan laghed, so did I.

On the way to school we played a game called 'sweet and sour' so basically you have to wave to people, and whoever waves back is sweet. If someone doesn't wave back they're sour.

When we arrived at school Amelia and Sophia ran off, trying to make me and Ethan talk more. I was glad they were doing that for me, so I could spend more time with him.

Ethan and I went strait to our lockers, put our bags in, and the bell rang shortly after. School time, how exciting. Note my sarcasm.

I had a lot of subjects with Ethan, the only subject that Ethan wasn't in, was sport.

First period was French Class. Ethan introduced me to a few girls in that class. One of them was named Adriana. She was tall and she had long, straight black hair. She was very pretty. Another was named Sasha, she had wavy golden hair. She was also stunning, and very sweet. The last girl he introduced me to was Tanisha, she had blonde hair, tanned skin and big blue eyes.

Ethan told me his friends Dylan, Tyler and Zac wanted him to sit with them, so he said he would leave us girls to click.

Ethan's friends were pretty cute. Dylan had short brown hair, pretty blue eyes and nicely tanned skin. He looked a bit like a surf boy. Tyler had blonde hair a bit shorter than shoulder length with grassy green eyes, and he was the joker guy, always making people laugh. Zac was the loud one. If he saw one boy looking at a girl, even for half a second, he'd tell the whole class and tease him. He had short black hair and sky blue eyes.

After Ethan went over to his friends, Tanisha sat me down on a chair next to her and spoke right away.

Tanisha: "You do realise that Ethan's the most popular guy in school don't you?!"

I wasn't suprised, but for some reason It was nice to hear.

Me: "Oh-h is he?"

Adriana: "Yeah, and he was talking to you girl!"

I blushed.

Sasha: "Soo, do ya like him?" She said excitedly.

Me: "Nah, we're just friends." I had to lie, I didn't feel comfortable telling the truth.

Sasha: "Sweety, no one dislikes like Ethan Karpathy."

Moments later the French teacher came in. Everyone rushed to their seats.

French class felt like it went pretty quick. The whole time we were in the class Adriana, Sasha and Tanisha were talking to me. They're actually super nice!

The end of the 2nd school day came eventually.

Me, Ethan, Sophia, Amelia, Sasha, Tanisha, Adriana, Dylan, Zac and Tyler all met up together and walked up to the school gates. As we were walking up everyone was saying hi to Ethan. He must be pretty popular. Sasha, Tanisha and Adriana also seemed popular with everyone talking to them.

We got to the school gates, and Tanisha's mum picked up her, Sasha and Adriana in her car.

Ethan's friends ran and sat at the back of the bus, making sure there were no spare seats at the back row so that Ethan could sit with me. Sophia and Amelia gave me a wink and ran into the bus also, leaving just Ethan and I.

Ethan: "I guess it's you and me again." He said, grinning.

We got off the bus after it stopped, and Ethan walked me up to my house again today.

Ethan: "I guess I'll see you tomorrow then."

Me: "Yeah, I guess."

Hey people! I noticed that in the recent chapter I said 'Chelsey's P.O.V' instead of Samantha's, and I'm so sorry, I've changed it. There's a lot of stories with the main character as 'Chelsey' so I mixed it up. Next chapter will be up soon! x
