Chapter 8: Fight And Make Up

SAMANTHA'S P.O.V

As soon as I got to the bathroom I bursted into tears.

Sasha: "Samantha you've mis understood Hayley is-"

I cut her off. I didn't need to hear it.

Me: "Sasha go away I want to be alone!"

Sasha: "But-"

Me: "Now!"

I was in the bathroom for what felt like forever. I couldn't stop crying. Thoughts were racing through my mind. How could Ethan do this to me?

Eventually, I decided to go back to class. As I took a step out of the bathroom, I wasn't surprised recess was over. I quickly ran to my locker to check my timetable. English. In that class I have Amelia, Sasha, Tanisha and Ethan. Great, just great. I don't even want to look at Ethan.

ETHAN'S P.O.V

I was impatiently waiting for Samantha and Sasha to get back from the bathroom, but when I saw someone heading towards us, it was just Sasha. Where's Samantha?

Shorty after, the bell rang. I was getting really worried about Samantha, but I just headed off to class.

Class started, and Samantha was still no where to be seen. After about 10 long minutes of English class, the door swung open. I turned to see who was at the door, and it was Samantha. Her eyes were bloodshot red. She was staring at the ground and walked up to a spare seat next to Sasha which was in front of me. Did I do this to her? Did I make the love of my life cry? Is this really happening? I felt a cold shiver go up my spine. I couldn't take it, I had to get her to speak up. I poked her on the shoulder. She turned around looking super sad, I felt terrible.

Me: "Samantha, is everything alright?"

Samantha: "I'm just tired." She said quickly.

It didn't seem like she was just tired. It seemed like she was heartbroken and I wanted to know what was up with her.

SAMANTHA'S P.O.V

I walked into the classroom, looking at the ground. I didn't want anyone to know that I've been crying. I quickly looked up at Ethan, and his puppy dog eyes widened. Oh great, he must've seen my red eyes. Sasha pointed to a seat next to her, so I made my way to that seat. She gave me a warm smile.

The whole time I was in the class I was staring at the clock. Suddenly someone softy poked my shoulder. I turned around and saw Ethan giving me puppy dog eyes.

Ethan: "Samantha, is everything alright?"

Me: "I'm just tired." I lied.

After another class, it was lunch time. I decided to sit with my group, look at the ground and zip my lips.

The rest of the day was extremely boring. Once the end of the day came, I decided to walk home by myself. To get to school by bus it takes about 10 minutes, so by walking it takes around 25 minutes.

I got home, said hi to mum, and headed straight for my room. What a horrible day.

ETHAN'S P.O.V

The end of the day came, and I couldn't find Samantha anywhere. She wasn't even on the bus? What's going on with her?

SAMANTHA'S P.O.V

I was laying on my bed, when I got a message.

(Ethan 💘: Samantha, we need to talk. Meet me at the KFC around the corner of the street at 6:00. I'll be waiting.)

I honestly didn't want to talk to Ethan, but I knew it was for the best.

I got changed into some warm clothes, and told my mum I'll be getting take away with a friend.

I finally got to KFC and saw Ethan sitting inside. I made my way to the door and pushed it open.

Ethan: "Hey, I knew you would come!" He said joyfully.

Me: "Hehe."

He brought me to a table of two and sat me down.

Ethan: "Ok Samantha, what's been up with you today?"

I had no control of what I was about to say.

Me: "What's been up with me? No Ethan, what's been up with you? You didn't tell you had a girlfriend? Why would you do something like that to-"

I was cut off.

Ethan: "Girlfriend? I don't have a girlfriend, who told you that?"

Me: "Ok come on Ethan, Hayley is obviously your girlfriend!"

Ethan: "Hayley?! Ex girlfriend actually! She is not my girlfriend! I love you Samantha, no one else."

Wait did he just say he loves me?!

Me: "B-but Hayley called you baby, and she-"

Ethan: "Shh, it's all ok. I am no longer her girlfriend, you don't even need to worry about that."

He got off his chair and have me a big warm hug. I fell into his arms with relief.

Ethan: "Now, can we just pretend that the whole situation never happened?" He laughed.

Me: "Of coarse, I'm sorry for thinking Hayley was your girlfriend."

Ethan: "All good. Now, let's go order, I'm starving!"

I gave him a big smile and we walked to the counter.

After we ordered our food we sat back down and waited for our orders to come. It was really quiet because we were the only people in there apart from the staff.

After eating our KFC food, Ethan said he'd walk me home.

Me: "It's freezing out here!"

Ethan: "Here take this."

He gave me his big warm jacket. Aw that's so sweet of him!

Me: "Thanks Ethan!"

Suddenly it started pouring with rain. We were both laughing and running in the freezing cold rain.

We arrived at my house in about 10 minutes, and we stopped at my front door and looked each other in the eyes.

Me: "Thanks for everything Ethan."

He slowly leaned in towards me and kissed me, running his hands through my wet hair. It felt like a perfect moment.
