Chapter 6: A Good Evening

ETHAN'S P.O.V

I walked Samantha to her house, I said bye, but I changed mind.

Me: "Uhh, Samantha, do you maybe want to come over to my place, it's just down the street?"

Samantha: "Sure Ethan, hold on I'll just let mum know where I'll be."

SAMANTHA'S P.O.V

Ethan asked me to go to his place, yay! I get to spend more time with him!

I quickly shouted to my mum from the door that I'll be at my friends house, and I heard hey say to be back before 9.

In about 5 minutes we got to his house, and wow! It was huge!

Me: "Wow Ethan this is really big!"

Ethan: "Wait until you see the inside!"

Ethan led me to the front door, and as soon as he knocked someone opened the door.

"Hello Ethan, who's this?" The lady said.

Ethan: "Uh mum is this my friend Samantha."

"Nice to meet you Samantha."

Ethan: "Samantha, this is my mum Nicole."

I have her a quick smile.

When I took my first step inside, I was almost speechless.

Me: "Wow, this is a beautiful house!"

Nicole: "Haha thank you dear."

Ethan showed me around his house, and let me say, after every room he showed me, I was shocked with how nice is was!

Ethan: "Samantha, follow me I've got something to show you."

We were walking up the stairs, when I saw a little girl that looked around 10 years old.

Ethan: "Oh Samantha, this is my little sister Tahlia."

Ethan: "She's very shy." He whispered.

I gave her a little hug, and then Ethan told me to keep following him.

Oh I guess what he wanted to show me wasn't his sister, haha.

He opened the door to a room that he hadn't showed me yet.

Ethan: "This is my own little music room. I come in here to practice my music."

It was really cool!

Samantha: "Wow this is super cute, do out think you can play me something?"

Ethan: "Uhh, sure sure."

He looked pretty nervous, but he gave me a fake smile and got out his guitar.

He sung 'give me love' by Ed Sheeran.

Me: "Ethan, you didn't tell me you could sing that good!"

He blushed and half laughed.

Me: "I'm serious Ethan, your amazing!"

He showed me some of his instruments, and I attempted to play them but it didn't sound as good as I thought it would. We had a lot of fun and we were laughing the whole time about how bad I sounded.

Nicole: "Dinners ready!"

We headed downstairs, and Nicole said I was welcome to stay for dinner. Ethan gave me a 'please' look on his face, so I decided to stay and eat.

Before I sat down, Ethan introduced me to his dad David. He seemed pretty nice.

I started eating, and the food was really good!

Me: "Thanks Nicole, it was delicious!"

Nicole: "Your welcome to stay for dinner whenever you want!"

After dinner Ethan brought out 3 flavours of ice cream from the freezer. It was cookies and cream, honeycomb, and mint.

Me: "Cookies and cream please!"

That's my favourite flavour.

Ethan: "I love cookies and cream!" He said after putting some for himself.

We sat on the couch watching TV, and eating our ice creams. After finishing my ice cream, I checked the time on my phone and it was 8:30!

Me: "Ethan I've got to go, thanks for everything!"

Ethan: "Ohh okay no problem, I'll come with you." He said with his dreamy puppy dog eyes.

After saying bye to everyone, we were out the door.

We had a little chat on the way to my house about Ethan's voice. I asked him a few questions, like how long he's been singing for. Apparently he's been singing since he could talk!

We arrived at my house in no time.

Me: "Ethan I had a lot of fun, th-"

He stopped me by pushing his soft lips on mine.

Ethan: "I'm glad you did." He gave me a warm smile and walked off.
