Chapter 7: Sad And Confused

SAMANTHA'S P.O.V

Am I dreaming or did Ethan just kiss me?

I went inside my house and ran straight up to my bedroom, after telling mum and dad I was home.

I called Sasha to explain what happened.

Sasha: "What's up girl?"

Me: "Sasha you'll never believe what just happened!"

Sasha: "Ok Samantha, you need to spill."

Me: "Ethan kissed me!"

Sasha: "Whaaaat? You mean on the lips?"

Me: "Yes! He's such a great kisser!"

Sasha: "Wow, he's getting all romantic faster than I thought he would!"

Me: "Haha Sasha I'll see you tomorrow, I'm going to get some sleep."

Sasha: "Hmm ok girl, nighty night!"

I ended the call and just sat on top of my bed for a few minutes taking in everything that happened.

Suddenly I got a text.

(Ethan 💘: Hey, did you miss me yet? 😉)

Yes I actually did!

(Me: Noo, but I'm guessing you missed me 😋.)

(Ethan 💘: Nah, I just wanted to tell you not to be late, y'know because your always late! 😏)

(Me: Fine. Tomorrow I'll prove to you that I'm not always late! 🙊)

(Ethan 💘: Your on! ✌️)

I turned my phone off and set my alarm for '8:00'.

I put my pjs on and jumped straight into bed.

"BEEP BEEP!"

I had the best sleep last night! I looked at the clock, it was 8:00. I should probably go get ready for school.

I got into my clothes and did my normal morning routine. I skipped to the kitchen, guessing I must've had a huge smile on my face.

Mum: "What's with you?" She said excitedly.

Me: "Oh nothing, I just had a good sleep!"

I made 2 slices of toast with Nutella on them. After I had my breakfast I checked the time on my phone. It was 8:30, and my bus leaves at 8:50. I had a little extra time, so I just sat on the couch and scrolled through Instagram.

In a short time I checked my phone again, and it was 8:40. That gives me 10 minutes to get there. Perfect.

I finally arrived at the bus stop. Obviously Ethan bet me!

Ethan: "I have to say, I'm impressed!"

Me: "I try my best!" I said in a low tone.

He laughed. I love when he laughs, the corner of his eyes crinkle up and his smile just lights up the world.

Sophia and Amelia walked up to me. They pulled me away from Ethan.

Amelia: "Hey Samantha, you and Ethan seem to be getting a long pretty well lately!"

Sophia: "Yeah, what's been going on with you two?" She gave me a smirk.

Me: "Ok don't tell anyone, we kissed last night!"

Sophia: "Oooh, someone's in loooove!"

They kept teasing me until the bus arrived.

Ethan walked up to me.

Ethan: "Hey Samantha, um do you want to sit with me on the bus?"

Me: "Sure Ethan, I'll be there in a sec!"

Amelia: "Well well well, I guess dreams do come true!"

Sophia and Amelia walked into the bus, basically leaving me smiling to myself.

I walked in the bus, and Ethan gave me a little wave to show where he was sitting. He was sitting around the middle of the bus. Ethan's friends were sitting at the very back of the bus, like they always do.

We eventually got to school, and I walked up to my locker with Ethan because his locker was next to mine. The bell rang and it was school time. First period was French, and in that class was Adriana, Sasha, Tanisha and Ethan's friends.

I walked in with Ethan, and as soon as I walked into the classroom, Sasha Adriana and Tanisha ran up to me.

Sasha: "Ethan, would you excuse us for one moment please?"

Ethan: "Uhh sure sure."

Adriana: "Soo what did Ethan taste like?" She said in a cheeky tone.

Me: "Sasha, who did u tell!?"

Sasha: "Relax girl, I just told Adriana and Tanisha. We're friends now, aren't we!"

Me: "Yeah we are, sorry."

In a few seconds, the French teacher walked in. Today I sat with Ethan, and we talked about random stuff the whole time.

The next period was Science, and the teacher set me and Ethan as partners for a new project.

Umm, YAY!

Normally I don't like projects, but if it means I get to spend more time with Ethan then there's no problem! The project was due on Friday.

The bell rang for recess, and my whole group met up, which included Ethan, Zac, Tyler, Dylan, Adriana, Tanisha, Sasha, Sophia and Amelia!

The whole recess Tyler was cracking 'funny' jokes. I was trying to listen, but I saw from the corner of my eye that Ethan was staring at me every few seconds.

Suddenly 2 girls came up to me. They were tall, pretty and had really nice hair.

"Hello, Samantha." One of the girls said loudly.

"Im Hayley, and this is Violet."

She suddenly turned to Ethan and grinned.

Hayley: "Hey Eth, we haven't spoken in like ageesssss."

Ethan: "Hayley, please go away."

Hayley: "But I miss you baby!"

Did she just call him baby? Ok what is going on?

ETHAN'S P.O.V

I was eating my snack, when I saw someone walking my way from the corner of my eye. It was my ex-girlfriend Hayley with her friend Violet.

Hayley introduced herself to Samantha, then she turned to me.

Hayley: "Hey Eth, we haven't spoken in like ageesssss."

I told her to go away.

Hayley: "But I miss you baby!"

She stroked my hair and massaged my shoulders.

I looked into Samantha's eyes and saw shock and terror. I hope she wasn't sad because of Hayley!

I have no feelings for Hayley anymore, we broke up because I caught her making out with this guy named Michael. He left the school at the end of last year.

Samantha: "Umm, I'm just going to go to the bathroom." She said quietly.

Sasha: "I'll come too."

SAMANTHA'S P.O.V

What did I just see?! What is happening? Does he have a girlfriend? Why didn't he tell me?!
