Ike excitedly held the phone to his ear as he laid on his back on his bed. "Karen, you were so right! He didn't seem frightened or startled by me complimenting him. He was so cute, you should've seen him."

"That's great," Karen's voice came through the line a little static-y, "What are planning on doing next?"

"I don't know. I really should've came to you first," Ike pauses before realizing, "What do you think I should do?"

"I already told you what I would do," she said, "I would keep complimenting him 'til you think he's in love with you or really likes you, and then you ask him out."

"I think I'm going to try that then," Ike says sitting up, "You haven't led me astray yet."

"I'm sorry if it doesn't work then," Karen says, recalling the argument Ike had with Tricia earlier.

"You have nothing to worry about because I think it'll work just as well as it did the first time," Ike says smiling broadly to himself. "I can't wait to see him again."
