"I love you, Yoongi-ya. I really do. Please don't disappear like this. Please," Su Mi's grip tightened around his waist. Yoongi gulped at this.
"Love, I am here now. I am here." He embraced her, his fingers running through her hair as he took into this feeling of embrace.
"Are you hungry?" she asked. "Let me cook something for you."
"No, No Love. I owe you many dates. Let's do what normal couples do. Let's do what you want to do."
Her face lit up with happiness. "A date. We are going on a date", she screamed. "Okay, okay let me get ready. You wait in the hall."
Yoongi refused. "I am not going anywhere love. Do what you want in front of me. I won't be leaving you even for a minute today."
Su Mi cheeks flushed at that. Her heart felt so warm. Her love was sitting right there, in front of her. Talking to her, touching her, hugging her. What more could she ask at that moment?
"Yoongi-ya, what should I wear?"
Yoongi walked over to her closet and carefully scanned it, flipped through her clothes. "It is warm outside today," he pondered. "Sooo.... This one love." He removed a dark blue knee-length frock with red and pink floral prints on it. "You will look beautiful in this." He brushed her cheeks lightly banging his head into hers. She could feel the butterflies in her stomach.
She changed into the frock Yoongi had chosen for her. She stood in front of the mirror picking up a comb. Yoongi slowly walked towards her and took it from her hand. He brushed her hair gently.
"Leave it open," he said smiling at her. "You look beautiful with your hair open."
He opened her dressing drawer and looked through it. He picked up a bright red lipstick, cupped her face with one hand and carefully applied the red lipstick on her already pink lips. His face so close to her, her eyes wandering around anxiously. Yoongi could sense how nervous she was. Those were his intentions anyway.
He went through her perfumes, smelling each and he picked one with a lavender scent and sprayed. "I want you to smell like lavender today, love."
He back hugged her and dug into her neck pushing back her hair to smell her skin. Shivers ran down her spine, as he brushed his nose against her bare skin.
Su Mi noticed Yoongi being romantic in a different way today. His actions and eyes contradicting. He seemed different. She observed him carefully, his every move, his every expression. She did sense something was off, something was bothering Yoongi. Yet she let him be. She let him treat her the way he wanted. It had been so long. She had prayed every minute to get this one day with him. So she was going to cherish it with him until the end.
"Where do you wanna go, Love?" Yoongi held her hand and kissed it.
"You must be hungry, let's eat something first. I wanted to take you to this restaurant. It serves best lamb skewers and beef."
Yoongi stared down at the delicious meal served in front of him. "It's been long right Yoongi-ya you ate good food." She chuckled at his hungry face.
She took a piece of meat and kept it on his bowl of rice. Yoongi had forgotten about this habit of hers. She kept her piece of meat on Yoongi's plate and made sure he ate it first. She said there's a legend/myth behind it- When couples share their first bite, it send vibes into the universe to make them last forever. Though Yoongi thought it was actually stupid, he never argued with her on this. He himself needed a forever with her, and he could do anything, however stupid it may seem if it meant her staying by his side for this lifetime.
