Yoongi woke up in sharp pain in his belly, nauseated and feverish he searched desperately for his phone and managed to call his manager. "Come asap, I am in pain, severe pain. Hospital. will need to go a hospital" he shrieked on the phone as he clenched his fists over his abdomen waling in pain.

In no time, his manager called an ambulance. The paramedics came right through. They took him on a stretcher, secured an IV line, applied a monitor to check his vitals and started him on painkillers.

Yoongi held his hand in his face, squirming in pain as it was becoming unbearable by the minute. He was taken out of the ambulance quickly and into the emergency room.

"Severe pain in the abdomen, two episodes of vomiting, pulse 100, Blood pressure 100/60," Yoongi could here the paramedic give his brief history to a doctor.

"Okay , I need to examine him first" a familiar voice said and Yoongi looked in that direction.

His eyes balled out as he saw the lady figure stand next to his stretcher. It was Su Mi dressed in a white apron, stethoscope around her neck and a name tag on her pocket that read Dr. Su Mi.  Senior registrar. Dept. of Surgery.

"Hello, Mr. Min Yoongi. I am Dr. Su Mi" she said "I will be examining you, please allow me to" saying this her one had was over his wrist to check his pulse while the other palpated his abdomen. "A case of appendicitis?" a fellow doctor asked. "No, he had an appendicectomy before. I suppose this could be something else, I suspect gallbladder."

"Intern, where is my intern?" Su Mi scowled in a rough voice. "Stop being paranoid over a celebrity and take my orders. I need two nurses here ASAP. Send the routine investigations but draw the blood in one prick. In one prick I warn you. If you are not confident, tell me. I will do it myself. Shift him to the CT scan room, I need a scan immediately. I am very sure we will have to proceed with surgery. I will talk to my senior. Till then prep the OR and get me the result as soon as possible."

Su Mi turned to his manager after she made a few phone calls, "I need to know about his legal guardian. You need to inform them. I may need their consent if we need surgery. Though Mr Min's consent will suffice but since it's a high profile case, I need to be more careful. And yes! The media. They won't be allowed inside the hospital till the patient recovers, hospital policy!" she shrugged her shoulders. "I have called the senior most doctor, he is already on his way."

She turned to Yoongi with a soft look, "I know you are in pain, I will add another dose of strong painkiller, but I can't give more than this till I have a diagnosis." Yoongi nodded as he tried to reach her hand which she noticed. She gave her hand in his with a smile Yoongi had longed for a decade to see. It was almost past two years, the last when he had her in his arms and since then his life was never the same.

Yoongi tried hard to move on as Su Mi made it loud and clear that their relationship had ended. So Yoongi drowned himself in alcohol now and then just to get by rusty days. He dated a few celebrities quietly as the dating ban had long been lifted and he was finally free of the bondage. Not that he desperately needed someone, but at times it just felt good to have that feeling of having someone. Yoongi could never go beyond a few months of those relationships cause those girls as superficial as they were could never get his complete attention. He never felt any connection. Yoongi knew what he wanted and no one even got close to Su Mi, forget being better than her.

"You will be alright" she squeezed his hand lightly "We will get the results soon."

"How are you?" he wanted to ask her. But he barely could get any words out. Not just that he wanted to know so many things. How did she manage to become a doctor, where was she all these years, did she have any help? Was she in Seoul all this time, in his very own city? so many questions flooded his mind but stopped on his tongue as he felt he had lost all his rights to ask and to know.
