"When did you meet this guy Jimin?" he asked.

"Primary school," she said.

"OH! That's long. And what about middle school?"

"Well, we were practically neighbours for a long time, we went to school together, we ate together, we studied together. He was my best friend."

"Oh you said Was! So what happened? Yoongi asked with curious eyes, slightly happy at the past tense she used.

"You happened Yoongi!" she sighed.

"What! What do you mean? he asked surprised by her answer.

"I told him about you. Us dating. And he got super pissed. He questioned me. How could I see someone when I just moved to Daegu? Was I in my right mind?  It was not even a month and I had not made any new friends here but I started seeing you.

After a while, he stopped replying to my messages. He stopped taking my calls. I haven't heard from him since months now." Yoongi noticed the sadness in her eyes as she spoke about him.

Yoongi knew the real reason behind all his abrupt acting. It was so obvious he liked her and couldn't grasp Yoongi taking his place. But Yoongi kept quiet. Not sure if Su Mi knew the reason but he didn't want to be the one to bring it her notice.

"So how was he like?" he asked with a heavy heart. Hoping Su Mi's answer would be all blunt. But Su Mi's face lit up at that question. She gave her brightest smile and started talking.

"Jimin-aa," she continued smiling "He was different. Different as in his heart was so pure and clean. He had the sweetest smile and softest voice. You know what I called him? I called him my 'calico cat'.

Yoongi almost cringed at that. Wishing he shouldn't have asked the question.

That's exactly how he was. Always fidgeting, laughing, playing around. We were so close. I almost spent all my childhood with him.

He cared for others in a way he never even cared about himself. He was that guy. Never once did he forget my birthday and there was always a present. One cry of pain and he would come running to me. He was one constant thing I relied upon. I never doubted him Yoongi. I never thought Jimin would be the one to stop talking. I thought he'd be with me even at the end of the of this world; if it'd be anyone standing with me it would be Jimin. I was so sure" Her smiled disappeared and she teared up.

"Why do people always leave Yoongi, according to their convenience?" she questioned him. "Why do they never think about the amount of pain they leave with people waiting for them to come back?"

"How is it so easy, so easy to cut ties and deny someone's existence?"  she sobbed.

Yoongi immediately realised where this was all coming from. How could he be such a moron? Yoongi really regretted asking about Jimin. He should have understood it. Only if he hadn't been so nosy and overly jealous about this and would have brushed it off accepting she was allowed to have friends and that she had her own life before meeting him.

Yoongi wiped her tears feeling guilty he created this mess. He hugged her tightly.

"Why haven't you ever mentioned Jimin to me, Su Mi?" he asked.

"Because I never talk about people who leave." she cried "It's disappointing and It's painful."

Yoongi now understood everything.

"I will never leave you" Yoongi embraced her tight.

"This is what they all say!" she sighed.

Yoongi writes-

She loved him more than herself,

If only that fool had understood it sooner...!

Sometimes being friends has more meaning

Then being a lover....!

She opened all her wounds to him

In an instant,

While I waited years....!

He got to dress her wounds

While I only saw them heal...!
