Yoongi waited at the bus stop. Su Mi's bus from Busan was to arrive at 10 pm. It was 24th of July yesterday. He knew she had visited her father's grave and that she'd be a mess coming back home. He arrived an hour early to be sure not to miss picking her up in case her bus arrives before time. He was sitting on the bench casually going through the phone when he heard two boys sitting beside him talk about an audition. Yoongi was all ears.
"Please don't mind me interrupting. May I know which auditions you are talking about?" he asked them politely.
The guy almost frowned. Yet he answered "Umm. Okay. There is this company called BigHit entertainment. They are holding auditions for an Idol group. It's in Seoul this Friday."
"What time?"
"They start around 10 am. That's what I heard."
Just then Yoongi saw Su Mi getting off the bus. Her face all red and eyes were swollen. He knew she'd be crying the entire journey.
"Hello, my love" He greeted her with a gummy smile.
Su Mi almost jumped with happiness on seeing him, not expecting the slightest he'd be there to receive her. She gave him a tight hug, "I so needed to see you right now," she said in a happy tone.
"I know love. Let's go. I have planned something for you." Yoongi said.
He covered her eyes throughout their drive in the taxi. He was as nervous as her. He constantly warned her not to open her eyes.
"What is it Yoongi? I hope this is not kidnapping. I told you I am broke."
"Will you just walk quietly for God's sake. Five more minutes."
Yoongi signaled his friend to leave quietly. He had helped Yoongi plan all this. Yoongi had never taken Su Mi out on a romantic date. Never had he done something extra for her and her story about Jimin giving her presents pricked him often. He had to do something better, something that would top the presents story, something special she'll remember for a long long time.
"Okay open your eyes love."
She almost struggled initially to see anything. Yoongi had made sure she wouldn't take a peek. As she started to have a clear vision, she gave a big wide smile to what was in front of her. Yoongi became exceptionally happy with the response. He knew he did his job right.

On the Suseong Lake was the small wooden boardwalk.
He held Su Mi's hand and showed her the portion on the boardwalk that extended closer into the water. "We have to go there. I ha-" before even Yoongi could finish talking Su Mi let go his hand and ran in excitement. She jumped up and down in happiness, half screaming half laughing.
"No You didn't!" she excitedly ran back to him and embraced him.
He picked her up princess way and walked her over to the sheets his friend had carefully placed. There was a basket of packed dinner, a pillow, and a blanket.
