12.You Won't Believe This False Hope

Jimin's P.O.V

We wait for Taehyung to respond.

What's taking him so long, shouldn't he choose what I choose. He's supposed to be watching me and I need to get intel on his gang by tonight or I'm fucked.

"C'mon V make a decision. Just choose what I choose, I know you wanna hang out with me." I smile widely while Jin chuckles but I immediately regret what I said when both Jungkook and V glare at me.

"Shit, alright alright I'm sorry." I put my hands up in defense.

We all go back to looking at V who is currently making eye contact with Jungkook still trying to make a decision. Hmm.

3rd Person P.O.V

Taehyung glares at Jimin after his remark. Little does he know so is Jungkook.

"Shit, alright alright I'm sorry," Jimin says in defense with his hands up. V rolls his eyes and goes to glance at Jungkook but stares as Jungkook stares back. Jin watches them feeling slightly confused but also starting to feel the tiniest bit impatient, which is surprising since he's usually very patient.

"Just pick whatever, it doesn't really matter to me," Jungkook states quietly not knowing what to say and not fully convinced of his own words. V nods and breaks eye contact while Jungkook looks down with red cheeks.

"Um okay yeah let's just go to Jungkooks."

Jungkook internally does backflips but just says, "alright cool." While Jimin and Jin sigh because V finally made a choice.

"Alright let's hustle boys," Jimin says as he slaps his thighs and stands up. He stretches and winces as his face stretches causing him pain from his bruises.
Jin stands up and starts looking at Jimins bruises and cut while Jimin tries fighting him off.

While that happens, V stands up and goes to throw away his drink. When he comes back he hears Jungkook say,
"Wait I still need to finish my drink."
V looks and laughs and takes his phone out and snaps a picture.

Jungkook grimaces imagining himself looking ugly in the picture and V keeping it.

"Cute," Taehyung says while smiling at his phone admiring the picture, he will admit.

"Lemme see." Jungkook stands up and looks at it and scoffs.

"I look mad. Why did you even take that?"

"For memories Kookie, why else?" Taehyung gets a wave of confidence and whips his arm about Jungkooks neck while looking the boy in the face.

Jungkook immediately starts blushing and takes V's arm off him.

"I look gross in that picture."

V smiles admiring the boy's obvious blush and touches his chin.
