Elsa groaned as Jack drove to the hospital. She could barely feel her left arm, but it still hurt like hell. She had broken her leg and her wrist when she was little while ice skating, but that was so long ago, the memory of much pain dissipated.
Elsa was mostly focused on her arm, but every once and a while, she'd catch Jack glancing over at her. His concern was written all over his face. She most definitely didn't want today to end up like this. She felt bad for herself, but even worse for Jack.
"Jack..."
"Shh, you don't have to talk."
"I'm so sorry."
This caught his attention.
"You didn't do anything to me."
"I ruined today. I shouldn't have tried that trick."
"It's okay. You're going to be fine. We're almost there."
Elsa wanted to say more, but they pulled up to the hospital. Jack was out of his seat in seconds, hurrying to her aid.
"Jack-"
"The nurses are right up there."
"Jack-"
"Excuse me! She needs medical help!" Jack waved his free hand up and caught the nurses' attention. They rushed to her and hurried her through the doors. Jack started to follow, but they told him to stay in the waiting room.

Great. He had to stay in a room named after his least favorite subject. Elsa was taken away without another word and he was stuck here.
"Jackson Frost." His name was called. He stood up and went to the front desk.
"Hello. My name is Marian. I need you to fill out these papers." She handed him some forms asking for the patient's name, parents, birthdate, phone numbers. Jack put down Elsa's name and her parent's names. He didn't know how to reach her parents or when her birthday was.
"Excuse me. I don't know how to reach Elsa's parents, could you possibly let me borrow a phone book or-"
"Let me see," Marian looked at the form only partially filled out. "Elsa Arendelle," she read.
Marian typed the name in her computer. "Here they are, I will call Mr. and Mrs. Arendelle immediately."
Jack sighed, relieved, and went back to his seat. 20 minutes later, a worried looking couple hurried in and straight to the desk.
"We'd like to see our daughter, Elsa Arendelle." The man said.
"Yes, please wait, sir, ma'am. It'll be just a moment."
The couple sat down a few seats away from Jack. The woman had signs of tears in her eyes.
He moved to stand in front of them. "Hi. I'm Jack Frost. I'm a friend of Elsa's."
"Jack Frost?" The man asked.
"You've heard of me?"
"Listen, if you're trying to mess with us, this is a bad time."
"No, I'm not trying anyth-"
Just then the redhead ran through the door. "Mom, Dad! Is she alright? She's not dead, is she? Please tell me she's not dead!"
"Anna, calm down! You're sister is fine. We are waiting to see her as we speak."
Anna's shoulders relaxed slightly, then she noticed the white haired boy.
"Jack? Why are you here?"
"I brought Elsa here after she, you know, fell."
Anna wasn't cautious like her parents. She ran right up to Jack and hugged him. "Thank you."
Jack was a little taken aback. He didn't get hugs often, besides his mother. He wasn't exactly sure what the 'Hug Protocol' exactly was. Luckily, she let go soon enough, he didn't really have to react.
"You know this boy?" Mrs. Arendelle asked.
"Yeah! We brought him-" she stopped when she noticed Jack's uneasiness. The drunk story wouldn't exactly reassure Elsa's parents. "I mean, Elsa introduced us a couple days ago."
"She did?" Elsa's father sounded interested.
"Yeah, uh, Jack's a really great guy. He helped Elsa here, after all."
"Jack, I am so sorry. Thank you for helping my daughter."
"Arendelle," a nurse called.

Elsa couldn't quite pay attention to what all the doctors were doing. They gave her penicillin to lessen the pain, and now she was very drowsy. Her arm was now bandaged up and braced. She hadn't heard exactly what was wrong with her, but she was too tired to ask.
Her family hurried in with worried expressions as they crowded around her.
"Honey, are you alright?" Her mother asked.
"I'm fine." Elsa answered simply.
"You had us worried. What happened?" Her father asked.
"Skating. I messed up."
"I told you not to attempt that jump unless a trainer or other professional was there," he said.
Elsa just nodded.
"Do you want anything? Something to drink, or anything?"
Elsa sat up some, "Where's Jack?"
