I'm Sure I Love You

Elsa and Anna peeked through the curtains to the front of their house. It was too dark outside to recognize the vehicle parked by the curb, but a figure was walking up the walk to their house.

"Who is that?" Anna asked, not recognizing the shape of the figure.

Elsa knew exactly who it was. Elsa ran to the door and went out in the rain, not bothering to answer Anna's question. She went halfway down the front walk. Jack was at the end. He stopped when he saw her come out and both stood there for what felt like an eternity.

The rain seemed to fall harder and the atmosphere seemed thicker. It was almost unbearable, but both held their ground.

Suddenly, Jack came rushing up to her. Elsa almost wanted to run, but she had to stay. She needed to stay.

He came closer and closer. Not a second after he reached her, he leaned down and kissed her. Elsa was taken by surprise, but she felt like she had been waiting too long to be. They stood there with each other, hardly taking their lips apart. The rain no longer mattered. Nothing mattered. It was just the two of them, and in that moment, everything was forgiven. It was like the days Jack stayed away and the fight never happened.

After a while Jack parted from her long enough to say, "I'm sorry."

❄❄❄

"I'm sorry too," Elsa said. Jack was now sitting with her on the couch, each with a cup of hot cocoa.

"Yay!" Anna squealed from the corner.

Both Elsa and Jack looked at her like she was crazy.

"What? I've been shipping you guys for how long and now you're finally together!" Anna gave them a big smile.

Elsa giggled. Jack shook his head in amusement, grinning. He turned back to Elsa.

"Did it hurt?"

"If you're going to say when I fell from heaven, please don't." Elsa stopped him.

He laughed, "No, when I tried to ignore you. Because I was dying inside and I am extremely sorry. I didn't mean any of it. I thought it'd be easier, but now I know I just messed it up more."

"Yes."

❄❄❄

"What time is it?" Jack asked. He was laid out on the floor on his back, using the palms of his hands as a pillow.

Elsa looked at the clock from her bean bag chair. They had been talking since 3 that afternoon. She frowned when she saw the time.

"It's 7. Do you need to leave?"

"No, just curious." He sat up quickly.

"Wanna play a game?"

"Like what," Elsa watched him, amused.

"Hide and seek?" He suggested.

"What, are we 5?"

"No, which makes it all the more fun!"

"How?"

"It's trickier and more advanced."

Elsa shrugged. "Alright," she sat up. "But I'll have you know, I could hide from Anna for hours when we played as kids." Elsa grinned slyly.

"Well, I was the master at school. Once, the kids I was playing with couldn't find me for so long, they just thought I'd gone home."

Elsa laughed.

❄❄❄

"Anna, have you seen Jack?" Elsa asked.

Anna smirked. "Lost him already? You really have to keep better track of your boyfriends, Elsa."

"No, well... Yes. We're playing hide and seek so far he has 20 minutes on him and this is my house!"

Anna laughed. "Sorry, can't help you there. Oh, by the way, Kristoff's coming over at 8, wanna watch a movie with us?"

"Sure! If Jack wants to."

"Yay! Good luck finding him." She came closer and whispered, "check the couch," as she walked away casually.

Elsa grinned at her sister before walking up to the couch, pretending to be casual herself.

She lifted up the cushions where nothing was there. She didn't think he could possibly fit under the couch, but there was no harm in looking. She ducked down where lips quickly pecked her on the nose.

"Found you!"

"Doesn't matter, I'll win anyway," Jack stated confidently. "So can I take my prize now?"

"Jack, how in the word did you get under there?"

"I have my ways." He shimmied out as he lifted the couch partially so he could fit. He stood up in front of her and leaned in the kiss her.

Elsa put a finger to his lips. "Ah ah, my turn."

His shoulders dropped down. "Fine," he gave her puppy dog eyes as he went to a corner to count.

Elsa dashed to the kitchen and squeezed herself under the sink in the cabinet. Luckily, Anna didn't see her, so she couldn't rat her out.

"Here I come!" She heard Jack yell. She hugged her knees to her chest.

10 minutes went by and she was getting a little cramped, but she dared not move. Soon, she heard footsteps in the kitchen. Anxiety overcame her as she squeezed her legs harder. 10 seconds went by. 20. 30. 48, 49-

The cabinet door swung open so quickly, Elsa jumped a little. A hand reached in and pulled her out. Jack smirked down at her, "looks like I win."

She crossed her arms, "only because I hid easy for you."

"Telling yourself that doesn't lessen my win."

Elsa sighed. "Fine, you win, but I demand a re-" she couldn't finish as he kissed her softly on the lips.
