Denki Kaminari x Reader: Rainfall

A/N: Just a quick Denki story I had a feeling for since its been raining a bunch recently. Hope you enjoy!

Spring was such a beautiful time. Fresh, vibrant flowers in full bloom, crisp and clear winds that was refreshing to the lungs, and the revitalizing sensation of new life. All wonderful things you looked forward to after the harsh winter freeze.

Still, spring did not come without its flaws.

"I can't believe it's raining. On today of all days!"

You turned your gaze from the rain-stricken window to the frazzled blonde who was pouting next to you on your couch.

"It's ok, Denki. We can still have fun inside," you said with a reassuring smile.

Your frustrated counterpart huffed,

"Yeah, but, today was supposed to be our day!" he turned from the back of the couch and slumped down until his body was practically one with the couch,

"I had so much stuff planned for you, (name)..."

Your brows knitted in pity at the depressing anguish in Denki's eyes. In all honesty, you were just as disappointed as he was. You both had planned this date since last week. Denki checked and rechecked the weather every day to make sure this exact situation wouldn't happen, but spring can be a fickle woman. She can be sunny and bright one day and the next grey and rainy. We wouldn't have May flowers without April showers after all.

"Denki," you leaned down and kissed his cheek, grabbing his attention for a moment as you placed a gentle hand at his chest,

"You know I'm not that picky," you grinned brightly,

"As long as I'm with you, I'm happy."

Denki's lips curved slightly at your words, his brows perking up. The blonde sighed,

"Alright," he sat up and wrapped his arms around you with a playful grin,

"So, what does my amazing girlfriend want to do today?"

"Hmm," you looked to the side for a moment,

"Oh!" your eyes widened, "Let's play Scrabble!"

Denki groaned with a roll of his eyes,

"You know I hate Scrabble! It takes me forever to come up with words," he pouted,

"I'm not as smart as you, (name)."

You giggled,

"I know. That's why it's my favorite because I always win," you said with a smug grin.

Denki's smirk tugged even more at your arrogance,

"Yeah, well you know what game I always win at?"

"No, what?"

Before you could even hear his answer, Denki's mischievous hands were at your tummy and tickling you with everything but mercy. You burst out laughing and tried to pull his hands away,

"No, Denki! Haha, S-Stop!"

Despite your begs, the jerk continued until your eyes started tearing at the seams. Finally, though, he pulled his hands away and barraged your still giggling face with a series of kisses.

"Denki," you blushed, pushing him away in flustered motions.

"See? I always win at tickle fights," he said like it was his greatest achievement ever.

You smiled shyly, your cheeks still pink from the sensation of his kisses,

"Fine. Let's just watch a movie then," you said with a little defeat in your voice.

Denki's eyes sparkled, and he instantly jumped from the couch and tumbled over to your TV,

"Alright! You know I saw this movie that just came out with that one actor..."

You shook your head as Denki rambled on and on, your chest warming at your adorable boyfriend. He was such a kid at heart and you loved him for it.

You grinned wide and bolted to his side,

"Hold on, don't choose a movie without me!"
